Yes, to both questions.I'm using a custom ROM, can use this method to back for stock ROM ?
If I go back to the ROM stock , I'll be able to update via OTA ?

I'm rooted. With a modified system partition and with TWRP6.0.1 update is already roll out wia OTA... if u r not rooted have stock you can Update through OTA
That command on it's own will not remove root. Include: fastboot flash boot boot.imgHello -
I'm coming from HTC rooting and tried to root my son's Moto G 1540 (US 1 GB) version using the guide here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/general/guide-install-twrp-root-xposed-t3294588
Now the phone starts to boot, but it is stuck at the booting logo (Big M with stitches going around it).
I need to fix this - I feel terrible about bricking/soft-bricking my son's phone and want to restore it for him.
Can I just run this command: "fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img" to get rid of root, or do I need to run all the commands?
You can but you may be unhappy with the results. For the best experience possible, factory reset as described in OP, and do all commands including ease userdata.I want to update my phone from 6.0 to 6.0.1 XT1550 retasia. I have the firmware now. Can i flash it without wiping user data?
lost101: thank you for the sober advice. That command on it's own will not remove root. Include: fastboot flash boot boot.img
If you still have issues, do a factory reset as described in first post, and do every single command exactly as described. You should do more research regarding rooting Marshmallow before attempting that again.

I believed I had researched the latest root method - using the appropriate TWRP (booted into TWRP - didn't flash it) and then the beta superuser app.
I'll try the two commands you suggested, and see what happens. Thank you very much! I'll let you know what happens.
Follow this guide to remove the warning-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3177801I installed the rom stock , but the warning bootloader unlocked again , how to remove ?
And someone have the bootlogo Motorola Android Marshmallow ?
