Factory data reset via Stock Recovery:
(1) Flash via fastboot stock recovery.img (found in firmware image zip)
(2) Turn your phone off.
(3) Press and hold Volume DOWN + POWER.
(4) In recovery menu press Volume down twice.
(5) Press power. You will see a red exclamation mark.
(6) Press power + Volume UP.
(7) Go to Wipe data / Factory reset and press power button.
(8) Scroll to Yes - delete all user data and press power.
And, what if I cant access to the recovery? I cant flash any firmware then?

Flash the Stock Recovery included in the firmware zip and try again. If you still have difficultly - flash the gpt.bin:
fastboot flash partition gpt.bin

Report back.

unable to root the phone.. whenever I flash superuser through twrp, the phone stucks on the bootloader screen
This is one of major frustration for those whom want to root, I don't what exactly happen, because a few months ago we were able to root 5.1 6.0 and 6.0.1 without any problems, but later on the problem began, what I recommend for is to install STOCK ROM OPTIMIZED AND ROOTED.

No... 5.1 didn't require anything special, just flash any old SuperSU. 6.0 & 6.0.1 require a systemless install, which if you use SuperSU 2.62-3 (which was a beta and nearly a year old now) you just flash and it works... But if you use any newer version of SuperSU you gave to force a systemless install or you won't boot.

This is off-topic for this thread, there are definitely threads for this discussion, but this is a well known and easy to fix and eliminate situation.

Yes I know the difference methods between 5.1 and so on, but what I mean is at some time ago I was able to root even 6.0.1 without any problems, but after some this errors began, and since March I'm not su user, and one of the reasons was that. Off topic

At the "No Command" window, hold Power and tap Vol Up, then release both buttons... Then factory reset and clear cache, reboot, if it still fails, press and hold power and Vol Dn until the fastboot screen shows up and reflash making sure your doing all the sparsechunks and following all the commands in http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/general/guide-fastboot-flashing-factory-t3187750

Andalusia.
I have an locked bootloader and totally unable to flash imgs via fastboot.

BL: 80CB (sba-cfa8344, 2015-11-20)
Baseband: not available
Osprey XT1541 16/2RAM
Device is LOCKED.

I'm unable to unlock it since I have No recovery and No system. Always ask to allow oem unlock.

I'm unable to flash firmware via fastboot commands, always gives fail. (bootloader) Preflash validation failed and "invalid signed images"

I'm trying to flash 6.0.1 stock firmware images.
XT1541_OSPREY_RETEU_2GB_6.0_MPI24.65-33_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
and
XT1541_OSPREY_RETEU_2GB_6.0.1_MPI24.107-55_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip

Any solution?

PLEASE! Check the attached files.

Help! Different firmware?

@Morphine1 - This can happen with Locked (re-locked in your case) Bootloader. Your phone will now only accept a newer Android 6.0.1 or 7.0 Firmware Image. The latter could take months to arrive.

Unfortunately this appears to be the price you pay for re-locking. No warranty and no way to resolve the situation for now.

Thank you for the reply. So that means if flashing a 6.0.1 rom via fastboot commamds doesnt work, I will have to wait for a newer firmware? It happened when the kid tried to update to 6.0.1, I found the phone with only fastboot screen menu without system and recovery. The device has never been unlocked although I got the unlock code on my email.
So only time will tell? :/
Thanks.

You could try this newer 6.0.1 firmware Image: (It does not matter that it is the 1GB version or the carrier - it's basically identical to Retail EU)

Downloading it and will post the outcome asap.

I was wondering also that emmc size wouldnt matter, only cpu hardware would. Thanks for clearing up.

Edit: Alright @lost101 , seems it is looking better. I could succesfully flash all the images from that firmware! But now it is constantly restarting on the bootlogo. The phone won't boot. The screen switches off for a second and restarts all over again.

Hmmm.

@Morphine1 - Read the first post of this thread! You must factory reset in Stock Recovery.
Yes, I did!
For some weird reason, I cannot enter in recovery menu. I have flashed the recovery again, but it is not accesible. I also made a factory reset via fastboot commands, erase cache, erase userdata, and formatuserdata". Still constantly rebooting on the logo.

Edit: Going to flash all the images again.

Edit2: Still same issue. Constant reboots, only bootlogo shows up. Not even bootanimation :/
Also, got no recovery though it has been succesfully flashed.

Try:
fastboot boot recovery.img
Neither work, I had tried it before :/ looking bad. Good thing firmware is flashed but it cant boot it for some reason. Perhaps still give it another try with a new firmware? But im afraid the same will happen. Might be a hardware weird issue then.

Thanks a lot for your help. Will keep trying it anyway. If you get more ideas, please let me know[emoji106]

Describe to me how you are attempting to access Stock Recovery.
