has anyone successfully unlocked band 5 on CN model? If so could you advice me on how to do so. I've been trying for about 10 times and i still cant get 4g. OS 4.1.6. Thank you in advance.
B5 is one of the easiest and consistently unlockable,

If you are on CN A3000

Simply patch your rmt using 4.1.x patch,

Download EUNOIMEI qcn and fbrx of EU model as well,

Flashed it by following the step by step on the guide,

You should be able to get the B5 working

Hello. What about B20 on A3000? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I tried EUNOIMEINEW.qcn and eu fbrx_cal. It can unlock B3 but for B20, it shows in Network Signal Guru but no signal.

Hello. Seems the USMODELNOIMEINEW.qcn base in the thread 1 is wrong since the NV item 6828 is not correct and does not contain Band 4 / 12 etc.
The only qcn that resembles US model seem to be in thread 2 Update 5 USNOIMEITEST1.qcn.

Can someone helps to ensure the US qcn as well as fbrx_us qcn are indeed US qcn?

Thanks.

Same results as you as well. I am on 3010 3T CN and used USNOIMEITEST1.qcn on thread 2.
Which qcn are you using?
USQCN is for the US version to use to unlock eg band three. Try using the correct qcn eg CN

Also... 3pages back

sadly B4 is untested and unproofen, since no active dev (me, baska & snowwolf) of this thread has that band in our country :(

thus doesnt matter what we tried, we cant really test & debug it realtime

in a normal methodology, what u need is flashing US based QCN (USMODELNOIMEINEW.qcn) followed by the fbrx of US (fbrx_us.qcn) model as well. And finish it by changing the NV 1878 to 232

but no one has much luck with B4 & B12 so far

Hi

The 1st page states (if you need B3 on your US, use CN QCN, if you need B5 or B8 on your CN Model, use EU QCN. US QCN is still experimental)

I used QCNview to take a look of the byte 6828 of the three files, none of them contain Band 4 / 12 etc.

Hi, I followed the procedure and managed to get B3 and LTE on a US 3T. However after a while on LTE the phone looses LTE and changes to H+. After reboot I get LTE again only to loose after a while.
Any solution to this issue?
Thanks in advance.
i have this problem too. fixed?

Yes, you can.
I upload a video to prove it.

In order to simplify the procedures of unlocking LTE bands/CA, I also create an assistant app.
You can use it to patch rmt_storage and enable Qualcomm diagnostics mode.
In addition you don't need care about your android version.
It works well on all released android version, because it can patch rmt_storage dynamically,
If you got some trouble on applying rmt_storage patch, you can easily restore to stock version of rmt_storage.

After some time, the phone loses 4G and goes to H +. Only the reboot helps

I managed to get it working by flashing only the Main QCN. I don't flash the additional QCN. I also open QXDM and even though ID 1878 value is already 231, I still read and write it.
Working perfectly now for me.

B8 + B40 CA is impossible for 1+3T, because they are different technologies.
B8 is LTE-FDD, however B40 is LTE-TDD.
You can modify NV item #28874 (RFNV_LTE_CA_BW_CLASS_COMBO_I) via QRCT to change combination of LTE CA by yourself.
I make a QCN file for B3+B5 LTE CA.
I haven't tried it yet, because my mobile carrier don't support B5.
You can use it, but it's at your own risk.
Hey I got LTE CA on B3-B5
Thanks a lot
But can you give me a qcn file for B3-B40/b5-b40/b3-b5
I can test this out
The carrier here has done the above carrier aggregations
So I can u make the qcn file for the above combinations
Anyone pls who can make it

To unlock LTE CA is easier than unlock bands on OnePlus 3/3T.
If you only need B3+B7, you can flash Unlock_LTE_CA_B3B7B8.qcn via QPST.
This qcn file will enable B3+B7, B3+B8, B7+B8 on your OnePlus 3/3T.

1. Backup your EFS and modem in TWRP
2. Enable Qualcomm diagnostic mode
3. Enable airplane mode
4. Using QPST to backup your QCN file
5. Flash rmt storage patch for 4.1.x
6. Using QPST to flash Unlock_LTE_CA_B3B7B8.qcn
7. Disable airplane mode
8. Run Network Signal Guru, choose "Clear Forcing" from the menu on upper right
I'm stuck after completing Step 3.
I can't get my laptop to detect the Android device to install the Qualcomm 64bit drivers.
Please help.
