Running PixelExperience 8.1 GSI. Had a problem on the google initial play service setup. google came up with a message that my device is uncertified and I had to register it at google to use the play service. Anyone else got that problem ?

Yes, you can fix it with props from magisk repo, just set your device fingerprint to an official one like

Xiaomi/beryllium/beryllium:8.1.0/OPM1.171019.011/V9.6.14.0.OEJMIFD:user/release-keys

and you'll get no more annoying pop-ups.

How to remove annoying device UN-certified notification. How to certify the device. Explain in simple steps please.

Stuck at pocophone image

Hello,

Already gone through twrp on my Poco F1 and flashed ArrowOS, but failed to go through and stuck at the pocophone image. I got the correct file.img and realize successful flashed but could not reboot and starting to set up my poco. I mean as I said stuck at the logo pocophone. was that any different between a and a/b file? i did download a/b file and successfully unzipped and copy to the poco internal storage.

No idea how to recover or restart or no idea whether the file is corrupted or otherwise

Anyone who flashed gsi. Flash magisk and try voEnabler module
It may help in enabling volte

Using pixel experience. It's unbelievable we get such a stable GSI for a phone so fast. It's amazing. The only let down in no working Google camera. My last phone was Redmi 4x and that with Google camera takes better photos than poco F1. Using footej. Thanks XDA community

Did you flash gapps? Does it also gives Device Uncertified Error?

Hi,

after ~2 hours i finally managed to get MIUI 10 on my Phone thanks to your Guide ( i know it is meant for Android P ), but some little details esp. hold vol. up + power until you see the screen helped me a lot.
also other guides missed to mention that i needed all zip files on my phone / sd card - or iam just 2 stupid .

anyways thanks for the guide again keep up the good work even if some ppl don´t appreciate the work.

edit: magisk links on github didn´t work for me / amazon s3 was down if anyone else has the problem here is a mirror (i search for like 15 minutes - but i guess that's just because i'm new to android and don´t know any sites besides xda from WP times).

Ok found the solution...
Just flash the latest miui_POCOF1Global_8.9.20 and the device is verified automatically
Will try VoEnabler module from magisk and report here

Just flash the latest miui 10 beta 8.9.20 and you won't get device uncertified error
I mean before flashing arrow os just flash the latest miui beta zip

I am arrow os. But pixel experience has the same performance. I just like the arrow os more because it has a few more customisation. Also i had a to fix device not certified on arrow. Did not now have the problem in pixel experience.

Performance is crazy smooth. Nothing lags or stutters.

Battery is also good. I come from Redmi 4x which has a 430 and a 4000 mah battery and still my poco annihilated it.



The only problem is no google camera mod is working so mediocre camera performance at best. I am using footej camera app. No problems in the app but way too grainy images.

Jio call app will always work as it uses data connection to work. Anyway I can confirm it's working on both arrow and pixel experience roms
