Compare the mount points in both UPDATER-SCRIPT (one from a rom thats is wotking on your device and the one from the rom you want to port), this file can be found inside the META-INF folder!

Tried this on my Cherry Mobile Touch XL 2 (MT6580) 3.18.19+ Marshmallow 6.0 ... Trying to port AOKP ROM FOR ALL MT6580(GOOGLE SEARCHABLE) but I'm stuc at PREPARING APPS...STARTING APPS...

Bootloop issue on all custom roms

I have a vodafone vfd 1100 mt6580 mini tab
specs as follows:
kernel version: 3.18.19
kernel architecture: armv7
android version: 6.0
ram: 1.0 gig

I tried porting different custom roms(xos chameleon, cwm 13, rr, aokp) but they get stuck on boot logo( bootloop issue). I followed your tutorial and still getting the same issue. Can you please help me fix this? Any suggestions are welcome

How can I upgrade boot from lollipop to MM?, I ported many roms mt6580 from L to L; AOSP, emui; zenfone; samsung clones mtk, bluboo xfire2, etc but I can´t upgrade device to MM , cause needed to upgrade kernel or can apply some patch?, nothing about Alcatel OT Pop Star sources boot in the web. Thx in advance

What are you saying/writing ; is it some lyrics kinda thing ? xD.
Well this guide is not for Lollipop or Upgrading OS purpose.

Your guide works on MT6580 3.18.19 kernel? i have parcial success on port, however a lot of issue with modem, lan and bluetooth.
