Anyone wanna make a qcn backup of their kate? Needs to be kate and not kenzo as we are trying to unlock band20 on unsupported phones

Same problem here.

The backup stops forever at 99%
I also tried to change port but the problem remains.
The Drivers seems to work.

I tried twice and the result was the same, a 1074kb archive.

My situ is the same (my file size 1511 kb)/
Is that the xqcn file can be considered correctly backed up?

Hello to all,
i tried the tool, but it stopped when i launched QPTS, because it didn't see the device. Then i launched reboot-edl and i saw the red light on the device, i saw also the device on QPTS, but QPTS gave mi an error and stopped. Anyone can help me ? thank you

i tried once again, and i found that flagging the little window inside the bigger SELECT PORT, i could see the device, but is RELINK HS-USB QD Loader 9008 (COM3), instead of QUALCOMM HS-USB Diagnostic 9091 (COM3). what's the matter? thak you tu all

Someone from the miui forum posted a turorial on backing/restoring IMEI. The Qualcomm drivers and QPST can be found there.

Try changing cable (main problem)
Or USB Port (PC or laptop)

i have redmi 8a, after restoring xqnc file i cant start the phone. if i delete modem1 modem2 and fsg i can restart it but after restoring xqnc file i cant boot

I'm using a Google Pixel (Sailfish) and successfully got to DIAG mode, ran QPST, exported the Backup in Software Download window... BUT I am facing issue where it seems like EFS is encrypted as I converted my IMEI to HEX and searched for it in HexEdit and also Winhex to no avail. Anyone have insight here, am I doing something wrong? Or is it just that Google encrypted the IMEI in the EFS and it can't be modified at all even through QPST?

Okay so I was able to edit it with Winhex instead of Hexedit and Ultra Edit. However upon reboot the IMEI is back to normal. It seems like they have some proprietary tech that's rewriting NVRAM and causing IMEI to get reset. Anyone have clues here?
