Recovered from a soft brick due to CWM(i think)

thanks for the awesome guide ...it just helped me from recovering from ' what-the-hell?? ' state, ie not-a-soft-brick-but-a-brick thingie.

i recovered my Xgo jb by flashing it to ics (coz ftf was smaller and i have not enough time to download ) ...

state of phone was as seen in attached snap.

thanks again!! :D

I also have a question, i unlocked the bootloader, and flashed doom kernel (JB rom) and somehow after flashing the kernel my phone turns off, no LED, cant be hard/soft resetted.

tried to plug my phone to wall charger, managed to get red LED after few hours, and left it charging for abt 8hours.

8 hours passed and the red LED turns off, tried to connect it w/ flash/fastboot mode but nothing happened.

tried to take the battery off and the motherboard too but nothing happened either, no LED, no anything..

any help pls?

Did your battery discharged before completing the installation of the software.
If so you need to make a fresh installation via flashtools as your can enter flashmode.

Try uninstalling all the drivers related to the device and then reinstall them and make sure they are perfectly installed.
BTW which OS are u using on ur PC cause there is a specific way to install drivers on windows 8 and window 8.1 due to security measures. search the web for more info on it. Best is to use a windows 7 PC for easy operation.
And why do u press power button during flashing?

First of all Don't panic.
Install the drivers from c:\flashtool\drivers
Check the box which states Xperia SL.
Scroll the list and check flash and fast boot drivers.
Start installing the drivers.
Then try flashing.
If using windows 8 just Google for not being able to install flash and fast boot drivers you will get the solution its a well known issue.
I recommended using windows 7 if you are getting complications.
I too have messed up my many time so can understand ur situation.
PM if the problem persist.
I will surely help you getting ur device back in action.

Just flash the original rom so :/
If it's an FTF, use flashtool
If it's a zip restore it from recovery

Xperia s red light

Hey
I have a problem with my xperia s, I can't start or flash my phone.

So it started with the red light (constant). I tried combination power + vol up but nothing happened. After red led turn off when I try power + vol up. I only got blinking red led. My PC don't recognize the phone.

The next day I removed the battery and charge it up to 100% at external charger, when I put it back,
- phone didn't start,
- I don't have red light anymore,
- combination power + vol up - nothing,
- the only change is that when I connect to PC and press power + vol up + vol down, computer recognize the device as "SEMC Boot device", but I cant flash the phone with flashtool.
I have only : "Device connected with USB debugging off"

Any suggestion ?

Why are you trying a combination of power+volume up its for resetting the phone.
When you device is switched off keep holding the volume done button and simultaneously connect the device to your PC if it shows a green led you have entered flashmode.
Then try flash your device via flashtool
If your device can't maintain flashmode for more than few seconds try reinstalling the drivers from C:\flashtool\drivers
If you problems flashing check the flashtool thread or PM me.
For bit more info check post no 1380 of this thread.
