My reply is Sooo Big but yes can make it your phone alive, So Put Phone on Charger if you have it right now , and read from top to bottom and decide in which situation your phone is right now. Make a note of what happened when what you did, as this will help ppl when you share it. ;)
Thank you for you post. It seems that with the Ion & S with unlocked bootloader, a different method is needed.
I have copied your post into the OP. It is the button under TRICK: UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER;
If you want to change anything let me know.
I would really like to here some results from others.

I'll get my phone back in Friday, and now I believed like I have a chance for flash them to stock rom again.

Nothing is working!

I've tried every step and solution and nothing is working, I have an Xperia Ion lt28at (BL locked obviously) and I tried flashing MIUI through CWM, it won't boot past the sony logo, it boots, hangs, and fades. I've let the battery drain, soft reset, hard reset, and kept it plugged in 2 days straight. It automatically boots up when it's charged enough and I can't get into flashmode at all. Any suggestions or tips?

Because You have Locked Boot Loader You are the least worried person, Dont panic.

Make Sure you have installed all necessary drivers from Flashtool/Drivers/ folder

When You get into Boot Loop
try this

[1] Keep VOLUME.UP pressed and when it shows Total Black Screen in between loop quickly connect usb cable. When You get BlueLED try Flashtool with fastboot mode.

Refer This Post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35504750#post35504750

[2] If you dont get BLUE LED try it for GREEN LED [FlashMode]
Make Flashtool Ready with Stock FTF file

in Between Boot Loop Keep VOLUME.DOWN pressing and Connect Usb Cable when it shows BLACK Screen. And It Will Flash.

Read the Post Carefully and Dont freak out you'll eventually get your phone into life back.

If You still don't get response Charge it and try it after few hrs.

I was able to flash the AT&T stock .ftf file in flashmode and now it won't boot and the led is green, Hard and soft reset combinations won't work and flashtool won't recognize it.

Just Charge and Let LED Come Back and Get Boot Loop

I was able to flash the AT&T stock .ftf file in flashmode and now it won't boot and the led is green, Hard and soft reset combinations won't work and flashtool won't recognize it.

Just CHarge Your Phone and Don't Power On the Device.

When You get Constant Red Led.

Try those options Specified in the Thread

And DOwnload Appropriate FTF for you Phone Model frm Here

Just Wipe Out all things First Before FLash

How exactly do you fix the CWM settings? Ive spent over 2 weeks fixing 2 soft bricks from trying to flash a rom
Just Wipe It Out All Before Flashing,When You Goto Recovery.
Wipe Data / Cache (Factory)
Wipe Dalvik cache goto advance ->wipe dalvik cahce

Then Flash Custom ROM. If Your Rom is Made for Your Device only then only flash it, else it coul'd end up bricked phone.

If You are in locked boot loader you cant use cynogenMOD
Also
If You want to install CunogenMOD CM9 or CM 10 Your Phone Must Have Latest Baseband Available.

For Example IF your phone was running gngerbread, You can't directly go for cynogenMOD 9 or 10
First Flash Latest Stock ICS FTF (It will upgrade the baseband) then only

Now my Xperia Ion now working!

In last Thursday I decide to get back my bricked ION and then follow the instruction as markelON suggested.
And when I tried 2 hours later, I've finally get the Xperia logo again, and everything become working! :D

In my case I found later that the speaker in back of the phone has broken. I don't sure this was already broken since the phone bricked or between the repair service tries for recover my phone. But other functions are working and my dad had car accident recently. So I keep my phone and still not send back to repair service yet.

Now it has hardware issue, not brick, so I could call the repair service to fix it now. :silly:

I thank everyone who lend the help, especially markeION.
Thank you very much.

P.S. I has also written the fix instruction summary in my language and publish to local community too, based on markeION suggustion. So I think this would help others who aren't skill the English language too.

Glad To Hear You Unbricked Your Phone.

But Do One thing Before Giving It to Service Center.

Relock the Boot Loader If You Have Unlocked It
Make Sure You Use Only Stock Rom without any modification/rooting before giving it to service center.
I Prefer to Update via Sony Companion, Flashtool with Stock Rom would do fine too.

xperia s bricked

please please somebody help...

bear with my language..

last two days i have been experimenting with my xps n today i bricked it.
i had stock 6... .45 rom..then i rooted with binary 4 method successfully ..then added cwm v1.2 (dont remember exactly the version but it was earlier version)
..then i did some pathching like walkman, beatsaudio, statusbar etc..
yesterday i unlocked the bootloader after taking key from sony n did the whole process using fastbootmode..it returned 0.5 value then next step it said bootloader unlock reqested..then said process finished (there was no lines like erasing bootloader...erasing bootloader...as tutorial said)
whole night i was searching for any method to confirm the status of my xpx bootloader lock status..
all i got to know is
1) *#*#7378423#*#* it used to say bootloader unlock allowed: yes
but after that process it said bootloader unlocked: yes
2) i did the process again n it said bootloader already unlocked..
by which i was sure that bootloader has been unlocked

so i downloaded a custom rom today (xhsv3.0) downloaded from mediafire link but didnt downloaded the addons pack of it..
i placed it in card n flashed it using cwm recovery..
installation ran well n said process completed..
i restarted my xpx it showed bootloops n the sad story began..
no cwm to restore my nand backup..
so i flashed advance stock kernel to have recovery...
cwm recovery installed v6 but it showed error while restoring my nand backup
something like error erasing boot image..

i downloaded stock rom 6.1.a...45 n tried flashing it using flash tool but that was also showed error

You don't wanna know.....
@up^^^

try: when bootlooping connect phone to PC -usb...and do: hold volume up and press power key till one vibration(soft reset)...disconnect and hold volume down and connect to pc to get in flash mode...now before this prepare a FW in flashtool for flash mode as when you'll enter flashmode on phone...flash will start automagically...:)

First thing You need to know is If You Got BootLoop Means Your Kernel getting loaded (Your Phone is responding Well) and you are one step close to recover it.

Make Sure following things first and foremost
1) Flashtool Installed with All necessary drivers (Fastboot+ Device Specific) Finf inside Flashtool\drivers Folder.
2) Download Latest Stock FTF for your device (If you have working one then dont worry)
3) Extract the Ftf File to Flashtool\Firmwares\Extracted_FTF\ using 7-zip
4) Put MicroUSB to device and All plug-in plug-out would be done to-from PC USb port (Coz you will need to do these things quickly)

Don't Ever Turn on the Phone unless you recovered it. (Don't Press Only the Power Button)
Steps :

- Do Hard Reset And Quickly

1) Try For Flashmode

Setup Flashtool with Stock FTF (Check ALL availabe wipe options)
Do SoftReset (POWER + VOLUME.UP) Untill You Get One Vibration ,
Quickly After that Press VOLUME.DOWN Button and Keep Pressed , Meanwhile Connect USB Cable to PC. If You Get GREEN LED It will Start Flashing Automatically.

Try It few times if don't succeed in one try.

2) If you don't get GREEN LED No problem try for FASTBOOTMODE

Open FLashtool Click Flash(Thunder ) icon and Select Fastboot mode.

Do SoftReset
Quickly After Press VOLUME.UP button and Keep it pressed , meanwhile connect USB cable. IF You get BLUE LED
GO to FLASHTOOL select kernel to flash (browse where you have extracted KERNEL.SIN from ftf Select It)
It will Flash the Kernel and After that select System to flash and do the same.

Try it few times if you don't get in one try it doesn't mean it isn't working, actually its all about timing.

Still there maybe a chance your phone wont boot up successfully So unplug it.
Setup FLashtool and Connect phone with VOLUME.DOWN Pressed.

It will FLash and Your Phone will be back to life.

3) If you don't get bootloops then Unplug Phone Connect it to wall charger and retry after few hrs.

Let me know if you face any difficulty in between.

Bricked Ion :'<

Hi,
I have a Sony Xperia Ion LT28i International Generic Ver running on ICS.
I rooted it using Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18 and then unlocked it's bootloader using cmd.
How to Install CyanogenMod on your Xperia (bootloader unlock, fastboot, Google Apps, etc.) < Please search that on youtube (xda won't let me post links, first one in the results 16mins and has 5-6 thousand views)
^ Basically, I followed all the steps here until 9:50.
I waited for the purple LED but it didn't come and xperia went on a bootloop. (No SONY logo, just the screen lighting up and dying then lighting up again.) I flashed the wrong boot.img D:
Since I was a noob, I panicked and did a hard reset. Now the Xperia is completely unreponsive. No LED, no screen, and it cannot turn on.
The Xperia cannot be detected by the computer.
I have it plugged into a wall charger for around 16+ Hours now and it has constant red LED light.
I've got it to bootloop twice now, and I still couldn't get it to fastboot nor flashmod :'(
I've tried every solution in this thread already and I am starting to believe I get hardbrick.

Please help me.

This is the most frustrating Christmas ever D:

Find my previous post you'll find solution.

Make all things ready first.
like
Flashtool with all drivers (Phone Specific + fastboot)
Extract Stock ftf with 7z for (Fastboot mode)

When you're trying for Flashmode make sure You setup flashtool then only try for flashmode.
When You're trying for Fastbootmode make sure you first clean up all partitions then flash as without it , files will be replaced and merged only.

You can find all those details on my previous posts.
Read out those carefully and i m sure you'll make it alive.

Mine was also the same no response first, then red blinking RED LEDfollowed by Contant RED LED.

Try 1 thing for bootloop

Charge with wall charger for at least 10 minutes then plug it into laptop/pc.
It will start Boot looping after 3-20 minutes.

then Follow the procedures on those previous posts.:good:

Thank you very much for replying!!! :D

I installed all the drivers in the Flashtool-drivers.exe file.
However I did not find Xperia Ion there.
Is that okay? D:

By partitions, did you mean partitions in external memory?

Just now, it bootlooped and stopped then the screen lit up but no logo, it's not fading and stayed like that for awhile and then died again but the red led is still up. Is this normal?

When You are in Boot Loop
Make sure your device is unplugged

1) Flashmode
Setup Flashtool with Stock FTF (Check Wipe All partition) And when it asks for connect the phone leave it

Now DO a hard reset (Power + VOL.UP) till one vibration then, Quickly press VOL.DOWN and While keeping it pressed connect the usb cable to Laptop.
When You get Green LED it'll start flashing the phone.
If not then try it few more times.

2)If you failed to get flashmode then try for FASTBOOTMODE

Do Soft Reset and Quickly Press VOL.UP button while keeping it pressed connect usb to pc then You'll get Blue LED
If Not try few more times. And when you get BLUE LED follow above and dont disconnect phone till last operation.
There You need to do some tricky things to flash in fastbootmode.

First Wipe Out all partitions

Goto Flashtool folder Press "SHIFT" key and Right Click "x10flasher_lib" Folder and select 'Open Command Window Here'
type these commands
fastboot -w
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata

Now flashing the ROm

1) Goto Flashtool folder make sure you have extracted stock ftf file (system.sin , kernel.sin etc)

fastboot flash boot %kernel.sin
fastboot flash system %system.sin
fastboot flash %userdata.sin
fastboot reboot

Here % refers to whatever the exact name you'll get after extracting the ftf using 7z.

if you dont get success try it after charging few hrs more.

Dont panic coz you'll get your phone into life eventually.
