DISCLAIMER! I am NOT responsible for any damage to your phone, loss of data, use of your phone, or spontaneous sharknadoes that may occur if you try these steps! It worked for me, but I make no guarantees that it will work for you! Back up all your data and your ROM, and use this at your own risk!

These instructions work to recover any deleted files whether they are Music, Photos or even Apps after Rom Install Wipe or even Factory Reset.

These instructions even work to recover any type of data after accidental delete.

I tested myself after Installing CM10 on my sisters SGSII and she told me afterwards that all her photos, all 1200 of them, yes 1200!! were gone!! I of course immediately asked her why the hell did she save the photos to the internal memory instead of the SD Card

***TESTED ON***
Galaxy S II (T-Mobile), CM10
LG Spectrum 2 VS930 (Verizon), Android 4.1.2

***NEEDED***
Phone (of course)
USB Cable
RECOVERY Software from here, installed on desktop or laptop >> http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva <<

***NOT NEEDED***
ROOT
Custom ROM

***TIP***
After accidental delete, do not use phone. Data saved to memory can overwrite space that was allocated to the deleted data.

Instructions:

1) Download and Install RECUVA Software, DON'T OPEN
2) Turn Phone ON
3) Turn on USB Debugging in Developer Options
4) Connect to PC via USB
5) Allow any divers to install
6) Mount Storage on phone (Sometimes called Mass Storage) This will allow you to see files on computer from internal or external memory.
7) Once connected, Open/Start RECUVA software
8) Click Next on first screen
9) Select ALL FILES or PICTURES or MUSIC and click Next, This can speed up search and recover.
10) Click on "In a Specific Location", then select Browse
11) Select your Internal Memory or SD Card then click Next. On My phone is shows drive letter for each one separately.
12) Check "Enable Deep Scan" if the first time you did steps files were corrupted. Sometimes this helps recover them. If you use your phone and apps create files in system, these created files can overwrite the location that the deleted files were saved to. Explaining this is too complicated for Noobs so don't worry about it.
13) Click Start

Let Program do it's thing

After it's done check on the files you want to recover and click "Recover"

The program then will ask you where to dump files to. Select or Create NEW folder then click OK

DONE!!! Now you can go to the folder you created and inspect the files you recovered.
