Yeah I installed it from Playstore and now is working fine. I was searching if some app in the list was related to video and I did not find it so I suppose it has been uninstalled because related to one of the apps in the list or it's me that I don't remember uninstalling it?

Hi SilviuO, can you assist please, i have hiview installed but still have no details when i swipe photo up, just wondering if there is another app also needed for photo info? Thanks
Huawei Gallery app is installed? Try clearing data / cache, also clear it on camera app. Hiview is for something else, for barcodes, translating or searching on-line for shops.

One tip which works for my P30 Pro.
I doesn't like this AI Touch which always stucks on display when I longer press with two fingers on photos (Instagram etc).
You can disable it with the command:
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.huawei.hitouch

You can't root unless you have an unlock bootloader code to unlock it. And since Huawei isn't giving unlock codes for almost 2 years, i doubt you can get one ?

And how about "Huawei Multi-Tool"?
They say they can unlock bootloader and install TWRP.
I just saw this tool in Honor 8 forum.
P30 Pro has a different processor vs Honor 8 or other Honor devices. Huawei MultiTool isn't recognising VOG/ELE devices or newer ones...

If you removed it through ADB or uninstalled it, it can be restored only by Factory Reset. Trying to restore using ADB commands will not restore it
