Works Great on Huawei Y5 :)

Thank you!

I want also to delete `com.huawei.firstbootinfo` Its always connecting and syncing with Huawei servers and I don't know why.
Is it safe to delete it?

I'm glad i could helped you with my guide. About firstbootinfo, don't remove it, it's a file system needed by your phone in order to sync with Huawei servers and check for apps updates, software updates and other acces for your phone. It will get you errors, so better leave it.

Thanks SilviuO. I can't wait to start de-bloating my phone!
Glad to be helpfull, m8. And don't forget to uninstall first any updates of the bloatware apps before removing them through ADB if your phone is allready set up. No need to uninstall any updates if you're doing it after Factory Reset :)

I have uninstalled them directly through ADB without uninstalling updates. Are there any side effects?

Nope, no side effects, just that sometimes it just removes the updates without removing the preinstalled app and needs to be removed twice or after clearing cache apps :)

EDIT: I found the solution. I had uninstalled "com.huawei.systemmanager", i thought it was only a optimizing tool but it seems to have a bigger impact.

I used your advice on the Huawei launcher to reinstall it and that worked. ?

Hi!

I have successfully removed all unwanted apps thanks to your guide.

But now a have a little issue.

All apps i start get stuck on the recent apps screen.

The little padlock is locked and i can unlock it on all the apps and swipe away with them or use the clear all apps button. But when i toggle recent apps again they are all back.

And the more apps i start the more they become in recent apps.

Any thoughts?

Sry for delay, m8, i'm on a business trip and it's harder to keep in pace :p. I've seen you've managed to get sort it, glad you've post your result here, in case other users will proceed (by mistake or no) as you did.

Cheers,

Hi,
with the commands from page 1 i was able to uninstall a lot of bloatware apps successfully.

But as soon as i reboot several of these apps re-appear

Did i miss to uninstall some essential huawei app that is responsible for the magic resurrection of these apps? (e.g. com.facebook.katana or the amazon app re-appeared)

Thank you in advance

Hi m8, they reapear because were updated regarfless the factory app. Before removing them, you should remove manually from Settings/Apps any update of apps and then try again. If they reapear, try to disable them frommsame place, should have 0 bits and won't affect you.

I ussualy do this removal first time i set up my phone (after Factory Reset or update using dload firmware or get a new Huawei device). I don't connect to any internet so those apps can't update themselves and enable Developer option / USB debugging then after i remove unwanted apps, i set up my phone (Google account and rest of it).

Hm.. i think that's what i did, since i always first-install phones without any sim or wifi. Then i uninstalled the unnecessary apps and then set up internet connection. But i missed to deactivate automatic updates on playstore for sure, since i usually operate google-less.. Ok, i guess i just have to try harder. :D

So i remove all updates and deactivate automatic updates, then start 2nd round of deinstallation ..

Thanks!

Hi friends , Is there an option to stop annoying system update notifications?
I have stopped all possible options and internet access both on mobile data and on wireless internet, but still have messages several times a day.
thanks in advance

Hi m8,

Try by doing those steps bellow:
1. Disable from Software updates both options (Auto download & Update overnight)
2. Settings/Apps/Apps/Software Update/Storage/Clear Cache&Data/Force Stop
3. If needed, repeat step 1.
