Can you also use this to root like PC version?
Sort of. There is a setting that will enable root when reverting back to stock, but Mobile Odin requires root permission to flash. In other words, you already need root to run, but this will allow you to keep root on a stock firmware flash.

Is this version have root or no root and I see that there is Sbl.bin, it's flash boot-loader to stock boot-loader ???
I'm afraid that may cause brick because my flash count is 2 :|

I confirm that I use Jig USB and flash counter is not respond, the counter is 2, cannot reduce to 0. Jig just give my i777 to Recovery Mode without press any button. I use 3 registor 100 Om for jig usb.

Help! Mobile ODIN stuck

Looks like Mobile ODIN trying to reboot into recovery.
It says:
Flashing...
Rebooting into recovery...
stays for about 10 min now. Should I wait or manually reboot in to recovery? For now I run AOKP b38 4.04
My usb starts malfunctioning after I bought Griffin car charger from Amazon. Looks like it was fake, damaged my phone. Usb does not recognized by copmuter, and does not charge anymore. That is why I try to recover to stock and use warranty.

Resolve issue: I was trying to load .tar from external SD. No luck. When I move it to internal SD everything goes smooth. Thanks

Mobile Odin doesn't flash the bootloader. ;)

And this should remove the flash count as well, same thing as my other guide flashing the stock kernel.

changing baseband

I installed ICS from galaxys2root.com and tried to go back to UCKH7. When I pull up *#1234# I get:
PDA: I777UCKH7
PHONE: I777UCLE5
CSC: I777ATTKH7

Will this method change my baseband back to I777UCKH7?

I'm trying to revert back to stock and update with Kies.

I've also been to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286432 but want an unrooted version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I do have superuser right now so this method will work for me if the baseband will change)

Baseband is the modem. Which package did you use to flash back to UCKH7? Some have the modem and some don't.

However, if that UCLE5 modem is working well, you don't really have to change it.

If you're rooted with Clockwork Mod Recovery, you can flash any modem version you want from the modem thread.

Or I guess you could extract the modem from the CWM flashable zip, and install it with mobile odin.

Just wanted to send you a big thanks for this quick guide. My charging port pins got bent back against the back wall and I needed to restore to stock for warranty claim with a charged battery.

I will say that for some reason I got an incomplete firmware file the first time I downloaded so the install failed but once I had the full one, and flashed it I had a bootloop until wiping the data and then restarting.

All back to stock now and sending it in. Wifi wouldn't connect but I'm sure I'll figure that out when I get it back from Sammy...Hopefully fixed.

Return to stock, no PC required!
Safe to return to store, no root left over, 0 flash counter.
...
:D
Chris, I'm a little puzzled by your claim "0 flash counter". I don't see any evidence that flashing the stock firmware with mobile odin will clear the flash counter. I still believe that the only two ways to return the flash counter to "No" are USB jig and Triangle Away. I'd love to see it if you can prove me wrong.

I tried to do this today to my GS2 and it did nothing. I mean, I selected the file in Mobile Odin, unchecked root/wipe/etc and clicked Flash. It did a couple things then said rebooting to recovery. Then it just rebooted to recovery - and then nothing.

Phone is currently on SHOstock2. I'm going to try going back to a different version of this ROM that had a different recovery in it but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

EDIT: Ended up flashing a stock image via Heimdall... still strange though.

I had to use this method since my USB port started to die on me and was having the same trouble with mobile odin rebooting into recovery and just sitting there. I ended up flashing another kernel and trying the process again. After that it worked just fine and flashed the files in recovery as expected.

I tried doing this with my i777, but even after flashing the apk for Odin Lite for the i777, it's saying I need to flash the add-on kernel.

Any advice? Running RootBox 2.1 on it right now.

I had the same thing. There is another apk you have to install that is in the original thread for mobile Odin. The app will bring you to the thread if you let it. It is a few posts down.

I successfully flashed it but now it's stuck repeating thr 'rethink the impossible' sequence at the bootup :/. I wish I studied compsci instead of statistics at times like this... Any advice?
