u think is better to install a custom rom?
Custom ROM is as your discretion but the problem with some STOCK ROMS are never been optimized this is why some users prefer a CUSTOM ROM or ROOT for remove every piece of crap from the devices

Rigth now I running Android 6 on my N6 rooted and blow out of the water any damn crap that LG do it any day [emoji106]

I just wanted to give my thanks to everyone here who posted info that helped me revert my v400 wifi from 5.02 to 4.4.2. I received it new with 5.02 and used the instructions in this post to revert. The biggest issue I had was getting the factory reset to work. I found these factory reset instructions elsewhere that worked for me:
Turn the tablet off.
Press and hold the Power/Lock Key + Volume Down Key on the right side of the tablet.
Release only the Power/Lock Key when the LG logo is displayed and keep pressing the Volume Down Key .
Immediately press and hold the Power/Lock Key + Volume Up Key at the same time while maintaining the Volume Down Key pressed.
Release all keys when the Factory hard reset screen is displayed.
Press the Power/Lock Key to continue or either of the Volume Keys to cancel.
Press the Power/Lock Key once more to confirm or either of the Volume Keys to cancel.
Your device will perform a hard reset.

It works!

Hello,
Looking for a way to reset my tablet V400 Wireless Version . So far I have not found the original firmware.
Do you have a solution by chance ?

Thank you for this post. I just got my V400 yesterday and it came out of the box running 5.0.2 and I couldn't root it. For poops and giggles I flashed this per your instructions and it allowed me to downgrade to KitKat and then root and install CM12.1. :)

Tablet in bootloop after flashing firmware. I was at 5.0.2 im on v400 wifi version only. Its seems this firmware on the 1st page is for v400lte
You are half right about the bootloop. I too own a v400 wifi edition and I downgraded from 5.0.2 to the 4.4.2 that it is provided here. After doing so I had a continuous bootloop, or more like to characterize it, a loop of the open logo and sound. The tablet did not turn off and on, just the logo repeated itself. What I did was something that has been suggested in another LG thread, where it it for people that soft bricked their tab and they want to fix it.

After the installation of the firmware, if it bootloops, do a factory reset. Indeed I did that factory reset like it is described here http://m.lg.com/au/support/product-help/doc-1418265139739-en-LGEAP# on the "Factory Reset Using Physical Buttons" option. (This video shows how to very well! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo3YfszOPsQ) It took me a bit until I got the white factory reset screen, but I did. After that I just accepted when it asked me if I want to, twice, and left it do the reset. After the reset the tablet started normally and I have tested it but reset it and rooting it and trying different things to see if it will have problems with resetting. but works great.

Afar from that when I was installing the firmware the application at a point said that it could not connect, but thankfully it worked just fine even when it thrown an error. I did not click on on the error message, just waited for the tool to finish and when my tab booted and it finished, only then I closed it.

Thank you so much for the rom and the tool! :)

I managed to softbrick my V400 and am unable to reflash using this method. My PC recognises the device being connected by USB, but LG Flash Tool and LG Mobile Support Tool don't recognise the device as connected.

lg gpad v410 at&t please send me the download link [email protected]
I have a serious proplem with my LG pad V400, I rooted it and using <LG Flash Tool 2014> with <V40010c_00.kdz> to downgrate the firmware but their is error then my LG pad stuck in fastboot menu with just 3 option: power off, restart and restart bootloader.

it stuck on the fastboot menu and i cannot do any think with it. The PC cannot recorgniea the tabble via USB. I can restart with factory restore mode but when select yes to restore, it will restart and log in fastboot menu again.
I test some methods as following
I downloaded adb and fastboot program and put in one folder <Minimal ADB and Fastboot> in C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot
I dont have recovery image so i download file <TWRP_2.8.5.0_v400_bumped.img> form web link to download TWRP file
move it to folder of fastboot programe and changed its name to <recovery.img>
i turn on the tablet and it waited at fastboot menu
when i run the command <fasboot flash recovery recovery.img> and they said <FAILE remote: unknown command>
please help me

Could you list out the step i need to do and what file, program i need to fix my tablet? please help

Works but if this happens to you dont panic!

at first everything was on plan i used it to downgrade from lolipop to kitkat because of rom support on kitkat everything went as of writen but after its done my device booted to the lg logo and it turned off thats where i thought that my device is bricked while i was desperate to fix it i thought maybe i should do a factory reset and after the factory reset it works like new now i am using it again because after i made it to kitkat and installed cyanogenmod 13 on my device it just started going slower and slower and cyanogenmod has a few feautures lacking like knock code double tap to wake now i am reverting to stock.:)

What's this 10E firmware? I've just reverted to stock using the OP's one. Worked great without hard reset on Win10 Pro. Thanks
