I've deleted folder "/system/priv-app/com.amazon.tv.oobe" using TWRP file manager and rebooted firestick4k.
Anyway I see screen with login to Amazon using username and password. I'm entering credentials and it shows "registering device" and switching back to the screen with credentials. It can't login to Amazon. I have checked this folder "/system/priv-app/com.amazon.tv.oobe" again after these manipulations and it still there... Is there anything else that must be done in order to bypass login to Amazon on boot of firestick4k ?

What do you mean by delete OBB ? I found folder "system/priv-app" but there is no folder or file in it named OBB ...

You need delete oobe.apk inside that folder and factory reset.
What is your FireOs version ? Try to use 6.2.7.7

After several different attempts finally I was able to do that.
If you have firetvstick4k that is blocked by Amazon you must boot in TWRP, mount system folder, open file manager - navigate to folder "/system/priv-app/com.amazon.tv.oobe" and set permissions on apk file in this folder to "0400".
(I've tried to delete file as it was recommended but it does not help and it appears again).
Everything works for me except of original Amazon remote control - I can't pair it. I'm using FireTV application on my phone for navigation, also I was able to pair PS4 dualshock controller.
Is there any trick that allows to pair Amazon remote control ?

A blacklisted device will not function properly even if you skip oobe, there is a way around it and you will get a fully functional device (but why are there so many blacklisted devices? have you bought the device from amazon?)
If you skip OOBE then all of the apps from Amazon Appstore WILL NOT WORK, and the appstore will also be non-functional, apps like "Downloader" will also not work. Then you can just watch SYTN on it. Other apps will not work on that device. You also won't be able to access Application Section in Settings.

i have a "not blacklist" one and run fine without OOBE, no account, just root and twrp.
No Appstore use sideload
and Downloader is useless. Sideload all app or connect your firestick to Usb on computer on TWRP mode you can see Firestick disk.
Cant use setting. There is root setting app
com.markus.firetools.apk ( you can enable ADB ) or flash ATV setting zip in twrp.
im not AMAZON slave.

You can still reenable OOBE to login at any time right? Or will it break something? (rooting for someone—amazon made this device a real hassle )

No, there's no 4k Max custom ROMs because there is no way to unlock the bootloader currently.

ri.su did a bunch of things trying to get the new remote to work on the this ROM, as mentions on the previous page, linked here. It's likely something at the core of the system that isn't compatible. A new/newer ROM is probably the best solution.

I have the exact same issue with the remote which came with it (the voice one with the TV controls etc), oddly, I tried pairing an old 1st gen remote with it, that works absolutely fine and using it for controlling it, just bummed I can't use the new shiny one with it.

(Highest without efuse burn)

Using the latest files (AFTV-MM-20221021) supplied by @tsynik.
Latest Kernel supplied by @Pretoriano80
NTFS/F2FS/EXT4/exFAT OTG supplied by @Pretoriano80
Updated magisk (25.1.FTV)
Updated Leanback Launcher
Updated Xposed
Other Apps updated.
Some frozen Amazon apps, no OTA update etc. (non destructive debloat)
No play store/services (unnecessary and causes issues)
Quick menu on double click Home (Xposed Edge)
Build.prop tweaks (fast boot etc)

Everything working well so far.

If anyone is interested I can make a clean backup and start a new thread. I've reached out to the OP but believe he/she has not been active here for sometime.

Will need to make a backup clear of any credentials.

Does anyone know if there are any apps I can't include following XDA rules? (Cinema, CyberFlix etc)
