After couple of tries and disappearing OEM Unlocking button, finally I was successful in rooting using the method from this post. It took me some time to master booting directly into recovery after flashing patched images using Odin!

Also, did not realized that you need to connect USB cable to PC and press volume up and down at same time to get the bootloader unlock option.

Thank You OP.
Can u upload a video or explain step by step to root this phone

Can you describe your step in more details? Because I even wasn't able to get into Download mode using that instruction from the first post: after releasing VolUp+VolDown buttons (after "Samsung Galaxy M30s" text disappeared and short "SAMSUNG" appeared) -- got me only into "Safe mode".
And yes -- with "adb reboot download" -- I can enter Download mode (mobli obviously still connected to the PC), but VolUp button does nothing there -- I've pressed it like for 20 seconds.

The trick to boot into download mode( With boot loader unlock option) is to connect USB cable to phone at same time you press VolumeUp+VolumeDown button, other wise it will boot into standard download mode or safe mode. Do not connect the phone before or after pressing these buttons combo, it must be at the same time and the phone must be in off state.

When phone boots into Bootloader unlock mode it should show screen like attached.

Hope it helps.:fingers-crossed:

The steps are exactly same as mentioned in first post (Method1) and for video you can refer to the below one of A50 posted on first page by @redymedan . Steps are exactly same except ROM and magisk version.

I had one unsuccessful attempt to root. I downloaded another firmware. Fulfilled this instruction. Method 1. The process was successful. My phone is with a root. If it does not work on one firmware, you need to try another. Thanks to the author.

Was able to unlock bootloader at last! Another trick: it should be a "short press" for a Power button -- not the long-one -- as for Download mode.
I.e.: you need to press VolUp+VolDown -- then get ready USB cable -- to plug it in -- and then at the same moment press the Power button, plug-in the cable and release Power button. -- in the next second/or two same screen as attached-one should appear.

And now rooted.
But -- there is some strange issue with storage: Samsung Explorer says that Internal's SD size is 16GB -- before flashing it was 64.
And Root Explorer says that root volume has size about 4GB.
-- latest firmware was downloaded using SamFirm 0.3.6:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647
and it was patched with Magisk 20.1 on exactly this phone...

---------- Post added at 10:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:42 PM ----------

Flashed back original firmware -- I can see all 64GB again. So, it seems, there is something wrong with Magisk patcher...

I will try rooting after week ! Thank you
I have a question
If I successfully rooted the phone. If there is an update for magisk can I update normally from magisk manger ? Or do I have to repeat the steps and patching the new magisk update to make it work ?

And if there is an official update for the phone from Samsung like the next security patch, can I update OTA aka wifi? Or do I have to do it manually using recovery?

Both Magisk "core" and Samsung firmware have to be updated using Odin. The only thing you can update "on the fly" --Magisk manager.
