hi everyone I made a root and a samsung galaxy m30 using using magisk manager and patchando the AP file of the original firmware (logically before I unlocked the bootloader).
The root was executed so much so that the root checker also tells me that the root is there.
The thing I noticed though is that I turn off the phone and then turn it on again the root remains, but if I restart it magisk loses the root (I open magisk and the dice that is not installed) power together to make magisk give me root permissions .
Has this happened to anyone? maybe even with another terminal?

Yes if you power up normally, you will not have root, for root you need to boot up with Magisk, from the Magisk Site:
"(OEM Recovery Key Combo) → (Splash screen) → (Release all buttons) → (System with Magisk)"
For M30s this is Vol + & Power Button.

cant enter into download mode in my samsung m30s with the conventional vol+ vol- method my phone is basically dead but a few hours ago it was showing the company logo. can anybody help?

I don't know if it's for all devices, but it is for the M30s.
You do have permanent root! You just have to use the Key Combo to boot your phone into Magisk rooted System.
I heard that there is something like an add-on for Magisk, to change that Key Combo into the normal Power button pushing method. But first i'm not really sure about that and second, i never found that somewhere.

First your phone have to be off. Press Vol + and - together, hold them and plug in your USB cable which is connected to the pc. Then release the keys.

Ok, so you are in bootloop? Try to use that little time slot when the phone is restarting and use the key combos. It's a bit tricky, but should work. Use some videos on YouTube for help.

Did someone figure out by now how to use the Smalipatcher mod that Santhoosh mentioned in the first post? It sounds like the solution for the problem, but I cant get it to work. I dont even now which "patch" I have to apply. Is it just the "Recovery reboot "?

Just use your preferred reboot manager or shortcut, and if you want reboot system with root after reboot always use "reboot to recovery" and system will start with root, if you actually want to to use TWRP use reboot to recovery and hold volume up while Samsung warning about unlocked bootloader... it's that easy, really...

Thats a good idea, thanks. I will definitely give it a try. But it does not prevent my phone from being without root after a system-triggered restart (like a crash). And thats really annoying because AFWall cant apply firewall rules then etc etc....

Is there no way to just boot with root by default?

great, now i'm stuck at logo screen after flash TWRP on Odin AP, and also i'm not rooted on root checker after succesfully install magisk until it ask for rebooting, this phone is hard to root as hell

Do not Install TWRP on July patch, Its safe to install upto BTF3. Will post the update after testing with new patch.

the TWRP that i've download is the one from your link, also sir have idea why my device still not rooted even magisk 2.4 and magisk manager 7.5 already installed properly.

let me get it straight, i just only want my device get rooted, so i can install some app that need to be rooted.

There are two modes after you install magisk, with root and without root. The system can boot into either way. To make it simple go to twrp - reboot - recovery or using power and vol+ buttons during boot will boot into rooted system

If you are on BTF3..
Just flash TWRP_MagiskPatched.tar using ODIN.. & you are good to go..

P.S. Remember the Key combos to boot into Magisk System.

what the heck is BTF !? and also, did i really need TWRP to be rooted ? i mean did flashing patched magisk AP is not enough to be rooted ?
