GUIDE: ROOT, install XPOSED, and UNROOT/returning to stock a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge

My sprint gs7 edge is on android 8.0.0 and bootloader v9 i believe... if i flash the "return to stock" files in this post will I then be able to root??? Or is hope lost now that i've taken all the OTA's????

I realize that this is an old post, quick question as I don't replace my phone often and have only upgraded the OS once prior.

I just ordered a Samsung S7 G930VL from StraightTalk, for the Verizon network.

Since this is an out of the box OS, does this change your directions regarding unrooting and such? Am assuming that it should still work on the StraightTalk prepaid plans on Verizon. Sorry if I sound like a novice. I am .
