help! so i completed all steps. now i just went to magic to install with patched omg but theres no direct install option. did i miss something?

why after on 10.0.31 i unlock my bootloader and root i get ctsprofile false ??? . i have even done a full restore with msm tool updated .31 . checked magisk on locked bootloader no root ctsprofile TRUE .but once i unlock the bootloader its false ??? how can i fix this ? on .27 it was true with root and unlocked bootloader . also diffrent question anyone use this phone on tmobile and cant dial out unless you put phone in airplane mode like 6-20 times oof or reboot to make a dam call ? its been doing that scene new out the box , my oneplus 5t never had a issue on tmobile. Ok enable magik hide makes it true read the old posts and found fix there . And calls are working good so far but I give that a full 24hrs to make sure......

Make sure you enable Magisk Hide. It is not on by default, and you will fail Safety Net until you turn it on.

No. I don't think you can pass safetynet with magisk after this update now. Topjohnwu even says this and is trying to figure out how to get it to work. Are you saying you can pass safetynet with magisk 20.4???

The update has nothing to do with this. It is my understanding that Google's March security update turned on the "real" safetynet functionality and magisk cannot get past it. Nobody can pass safetynet on current phones to my knowledge. I have magiskhide enabled, but it still fails. You're saying it passes??

Yes just turn on magisk hide . That fixed it for me . And Google pay works

So update . Ya phone is still a POS with calls . I have to turn on and off airplane mode like 20 times to make a call ..... Don't understand WTH is going on with it . I have good signal text and mms and internet work great try to make a call and just beep call fail won't even try to dial just a beep and that is till I turn airplane mode on and off a trillion times :/

Ok. So I unrooted and it was still failing. Strange. Rooted again and now it works. I think it was adaway though. I found a reference online that said certain hosts files can trip it. Meh. I'm good now

That sounds like a SIM card issue. I'd reach out to T-Mobile and have them send you a new one.

Glad you got it figured out. I use ad block in Samsung Internet, but not systemwide.

I use mint mobile.. using it since my OnePlus 5t was working great on the OnePlus 5t . Switch to the 7t pro 5g and **** going down south :/ believe its the phone or the 5g switch over on the phone .

You do this part when booted into TWRP. Then run the adb commands from your PC. The stock boot.img fille will be saved to the folder where adb is running from. Take that .img file and copy to your phone. Boot phone in normal mode and open magisk manager to patch it. Copy patched .img file to your PC. Then go into fastboot mode and boot from the patched .img. Open magisk manager again and do a direct install.

Well, are you running this command from your phone or the computer? In a command prompt, on your computer, run 'adb devices'. Does it show your device as connected?

I don't know then. Make sure you are using a newer adb executable though. This isn't going to work until you get adb working.
