Wondering if anyone knows whether flashing the international rom on the TMobile McLaren works fine if anybody has attempted it. I saw somebody say that flashing it keeps all the McLaren edition exclusives on the phone even though it's for the 7T Pro making it sound like it checks your device model and installs the proper files.

I don't have a direct install on Magisk. There is a Magisk-v20.1(20100).zip on the phone but the only Install options I'm getting are "Download zip only" & "Select and patch a file".
And I can not install that zip file by any of those two install options. Apparently Magisk is looking for a .img file to install.

Solved. When you open magisk after flashing the patched image, it will ask you to download a zip file. HIT CANCEL

@js042507 and/or @jhofseth can you assist me with some info? I need to know if Network Signal Guru shows any data for you after the first launch and exit of the app. My telegram is @cstark27 if that's easier. Thank you.

App link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qtrun.QuickTest
@cstark27 , the app you linked seems to work when I turn my firewall off completely. It just didn't work when I had the firewall on after allowing that app internet access. It doesn't show 5G info even though I have 5G displayed right now in the top right corner. It only shows LTE in the Network Signal Guru app (B66). The app keeps running, doesn't error exit, and exits via menu OK as well.

Thank you. And after you exit the app (via drop down menu), then reopen it, it still displays data? Or is it blank then?

For 5G info, they are developing the 5G app which is not public yet.

After reopening, the data fields initially have dashes in them, but are eventually replaced by actual numbers, etc.
Thanks again. If you don't mind, I sent a PM to see if you'd be up for further testing with 5G info. Are you in a 5G area, according to the signal indicator?

Minor thing to ask about but, will this allow us to change the boot screen back to stock Oneplus and get rid of the awful T-Mobile pink boot screen?

Is there anyway to remove the stupid TMobile shutdown animation?
I think it's located in /system/media/shutdownanimation.zip
I was about to say this as well. Yes, both the shutdown and startup animation .zip files are located in this folder. Anybody could easily make one and simply replace the .zip file. You just need to use .png images and structure the desc.txt file properly. See here...https://android.googlesource.com/platform/frameworks/base/+/master/cmds/bootanimation/FORMAT.md

Does anyone know offhand how to totally go stock on this device? After flashing an experimental
lineageos-17.0 image, finding it to not have network (cell/bluetooth/wifi) and reverting to the other
slot (a/b updates) I'm now on build 10.0.13.HD61CB with a pending update to 10.0.16.HD61CB which
will not apply.

I'm in the same boat! I have Omni on slot B. I'm waiting for a remote session with OnePlus. As of now there is no way to fix our device. I tried to dump my partitions from slot A to flash them to slot B to fix my issue but was unsuccessful in dumping them:( Hopefully someone with better skills can pull/dump the partitions of a working device and share them!

So your current oxygenos is the 10.0.13.HD61CB version? I get the feeling that t-mo updated it to something else prior to sending it out to the rest of us, and that version doesn't have an
ota update ( I managed to get the url for the update but that won't help).

Ok. I think I may have a solution. However, I need someone who basically has just gone only as far as the
bootloader/network unlock to do this bit. After (or before, honestly it probably doesn't matter) this, update
as far as you can. That should bring you to something like version 10.0.16 or so. Point is, need an update further
along than 10.0.13 in order to get back on the t-mobile OTA dole. Do not make any actual modifications to the
system outside of unlocking and doing stock updates.

Perform the `fastboot boot twrp.img` step in the original post. While in the TWRP recovery stage, you would
then perform `adb pull /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/super super.img`, which will pull a 15gb image off the
phone. this is kind of a super-partition and contains all the system/vendor/etc images inside of it for both slot
a and slot b. With a program called lpunpack you can extract those from it, and hopefully someone stuck in my
and DanDroidOS's situation will be able to use them to flash back to stock.
