Thank you very much! Here's the stock F.13 https://drive.google.com/file/d/10dtbUm5eMJCA5GxKmNQszxL8lcAlf2ie/view?usp=drivesdk
And here's the stock F.15 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kcnVLc19MAz95YT_4-u7-XMEEPL4UhOv/view?usp=drivesdk
Did you ever get the img?
If your bootloader is unlocked, then just use OrangeFox recovery, and use it to flash Magisk. If you don't want to install OrangeFox then just boot into it "fastboot boot (name of.zip)" then flash the Magisk.zipSo at the current moment there's no root tutorial for OnePlus 80 T-Mobile variant running Android 12? Is that correct? I am one of the people that got comfortable running stock and taking my mandatory update so I am running Android 12 at the moment.
I will attempt to pull the boot.img. bottle isn't unlocked yet. I'm doing the recon to get root on A12 if possible. The directions you have stated above is feasible and I'm capable of doing so unfamiliar with these new programs such as orange Fox. Magisk I'm familiar with from a few years back. I'm a old timer getting back into itDid you ever get the img?

Is there a process to unlock the bootloader.? I was gonna make that the first line of business.I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if your bootloader isn't unlocked then you won't be able to root it, sorry.
There's two ways to unlock the bootloader. Is there a process to unlock the bootloader.? I was gonna make that the first line of business.
After you convert, you can unlock the bootloader by running the command "fastboot flashing unlock critical" or "fastboot OEM unlock". I forgot exactly which command it is, but it'll be in the instructions in the thread I just sharedIs there a process to unlock the bootloader.? I was gonna make that the first line of business.
Just MSM it to OOS11 and stick with it.I rooted my phone and now want to revert back to stock and lock, basically as if I just bought it.
Will this work for KB2007_11_F.46?Here's the patched boot.img for OnePlus 8T Android 13 KB2005_11_F.13 and F.15
Bootloader must be unlocked
(Have the img on your PC)
Instructions:
1: Reboot to bootloader "adb reboot bootloader"
2: Run CMD "fastboot flash boot" ~name of img~
Profit!
You're now rooted.
I've also attached the stock boot.img just in case anyone wants it.

Thanks for the response.Just MSM it to OOS11 and stick with it.
You can update via OTA to the latest OOS13 if you want.
No extra steps are needed.
F.46? Do you mean F.63? Yes and no. Yes, IF you have the patched boot image for.F.63. No, it won't work IF your bootloader is still locked. So, unlock the bootloader, if it's already unlocked then use the patched boot image. I think for F.63
I appreciate that. I've been really busy with work. So I haven't had time to update anythingHello, got around to rooting the latest F63 version for the EU model so just thought to post the patched boot image for anyone that needs it.
