quick question

Perhaps there is a step I missed when but I try to type this command:
Code:
adb pull /dev/block/platform/soc/7824900.sdhci/by-name/boot stockboot.img
I get a message saying "remote object '/dev/block/platform/soc/7824900.sdhci/by-name/boot' not a file or directory"

I have to use ADB shell and

Code:
dd /if=/dev/block/platform/soc/7824900.sdhci/by-name/boot of=/sdcard/boot.img
and then I can pull with ADB.

Can anyone verify that this will work before I start flashing random stuff?

PLEASE INPUT THESE COMMANDS ONE AT A TIME DO NOT DO THEM ALL AT ONCE. I KNOW ITS A HASSLE BUT IT GUARANTEES A SUCCESSFUL REFLASH. I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH
Seriously, this can't be emphasized enough. A simple typo in a flashing script can hard brick any device.

Hi

It may be a good idea to add that for Bluetooth to work with custom rom's it may require the following:

1. Install Magisk
2. Install Magisk Modules: a) Audio Modification Library b) ViPER4Android

Modules: https://zackptg5.com/android.php#aml
this is not for custom roms, its for flashing stock firmware so that info is useless, also this thread and device are dead, i longer support this device ive moved to the moto g stylus which actually has custom roms, the moto g6 play is prolly the worst device moto had put out considering we had literal reconized devs on here tell us its not worth it lol if you choose to use this device OR any device without looking into the custom scene here on xda that is all on you
