@himfa71 Nah...some phones have a proper speaker at the ear piece. So you can have stereo output from bottom speaker and ear speaker. Redmi 4X has ear speaker but very weak.

No VolTE problem here. I am on RR rom with firmware V32.
It worked! Now it records with decent volume. The call mic works great too. I tried the multi colour led fix but it didn't work. I think my led isn't rgb. Thanks for the help!
V11 improved battery life drastically. Never before could I enjoy 11,5 hours of SOT over 2 days of standby time. I mostly do not mind the performance nerf and the app cleaned from RAM AFTER screen off, but I noticed that my apps are being cleared WHILE the screen is on too. My phone lived fine at ~280MB free RAM on v7, but on v11 the average free ram is ~500MB, with many background apps getting cleared off the memory. Even when I went to chrome to read an article then switched back to Facebook, the facebook app began to reload from scratch. Could that be improved in any way?
Performance wise, v7 is the best, but the phone can only live ~7h30min SOT after 1,5 day of standby.
Im on RR 5.8.5 2909 build, Clarity kernel v2.1 with no tweak on. I use Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Chrome and Boost for reddit very frequently.
[EDIT] I just realized that I didn't have ro.config.zram=true in build.prop. Added it and the whole multitasking improved. Problem solved, I guess.

I know. For battery life's sake, I can live with some performance downgrades. But the way the phone behave before was too much for me to bear. Luckily after I add the zram line to build.prop, the performance is restored, without affecting screen-off dozing. I'm good now.

i do not understand adb atall,i tried to copy paste code in adb but it failed miserably showing syntax errors all over the place.Could anyone make twrp flashable zips of mixerpath.xml files or is there any way around it.

Custom (and newer) kernels will have other options. I feel no need to upgrade my daily phone yet. Maybe if perfect Oreo ROM will come...
