4.3 the camera ui is different, and there's no megapixel settings when on superior auto mode.

Bug found, sometimes when I unlock the phone, blank screen...No idea.how to.fix, But it sseems like it's in deep sleep and reluctant to wake up..

Do you have these issue?

My phone is rooted, BL is not unlocked. Im starting to think like that the rooting is the fault thats not allowing any updates to come..

If the update was available you would be able to download it OTA. But if you are rooted and modified anything in system or recovery, you won't be able to install the update.

If you didn't modify anything OTA should work. I'm also still waiting for the update. I start to work again on monday, and I would be happy if the update is available in my holidays...

Guys, I downloaded the Sony update service. After I connect my phone in flash mode, the SUS reported that there's an update available. Its android 4.3.. I didn't update as I thought that it might unroot my phone.

Please somebody update and say..

bin4ry method not working for me. Neither is the doomlord method. Keeps saying it cant find my phone

Did some further investigating. Updated the ADB drivers as per some other threads, now in the device manager I get SEMC flash something when I connect in flashmode so im guessing drivers are ok, but i still get the "cant find the specified path" message using the bin4ry and doomlord methods. Any other suggestions???

Bad thing is im facing the blacks spots in the ZL camera..

Simply flash it using flashtool

Yes it will erase everything on device
And yes ROOT is lost
And till now there is no method for rooting android 4.3 devices with locked BL
But I just hope there will be one very soon

If ROOT is not a that much big compulsion for you I would 100 percent recommend to update as the phone and UI is hell lot fast and smooth now :thumbup:

Here's the method to root xperia zl 4.3

I have used this method to root my mobile and now my mobile is rooted and boot loader locked now

But make sure to backup TA before going any further...

OK, I was able to successfully and confirmed root on my Sony XL C6506 10.3.1.A.2.67 but now I have that annoying Sony update notification for firmware 10.3.1.A.0.244 that won't remove from my notification center. is that a older build? Am I suppose to update anyways, and will I lose root. but mainly how do I just remove that notification completely from my notifications.

Never mind: All i had to to was disable update center.

What method did you use??? I havent been able to root mine witha ny method, locked bootloader, .569, 4.3

Stucked on boot loop

I followed the instruction but mistaken some where now stucked in boot loop, please help, feel like crying...
While flashing the .423 ftf file

While flashing the kernel and attaching the device

and when disconnected the phone and turn it on it stucked in boot loop

what to do dev's plz plz help
