Yoga 2 10" 4G 1050L

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how I can restore the original firmware for Yoga 2 10" 4G 1050L.
I need the original without rooting ,without any touch.

I found an Open Source Code in the Lenovo website but I can't flash it.

This is not the original, it doesn't accept any update.

I have a problem with the right speaker. It doesn't work and there is no sound out from it. Is it normal?
I just flash it too to my Yoga 1050L and update to finally version its ok. Dont forget after instal to change you region code! without that you cant use OTA update...

in contacts add test contats ( whatever look like) then go back and to find pole type : ####6020# then chose your region and accept it :) after that device will automatically restart
then it must work :) for me does.

Please help me, my tablet is dead

I have yoga 2 10" 4G 1050L

I tried to flash ROM in the first post but flash failed and my tablet is dead and I don't know how to fix it.

When I power it on, I can see the first screen (lenovo logo) and then nothing (black screen).

Can anyone help me?

If system update fails do the following:
1. Flash stock firmware
2. Optionally you can wipe user data (I never did that) from DROIDBOOT
3. Go to contacts manager. Create some dummy contact if list is empty.
4. Go to Search / Find Contacts and enter ####6020#. It will ask you to select country code (first two latin letters, ignore Chinese).
5. Select what you want, then reboot.
6. Go to System Update
7. Install OTA update

If you're on rooted firmware and cannot install System Update you need to copy "system.md5" to /system/ that contains MD5 sums of all files in that directory (sample attached). However, after OTA update you will loose root because the update overwrites /system/install-recovery.sh script.

That file is only the sample for YT2-1050L_USR_S000066_1410301706_WW21_ROW firmware. If you have a different one then you either need to make one yourself by calculating MD5 hash for each file in all subfolders of /system or find the original "system.md5" file from the stock firmware. Again, this is only if your firmware is ROOTED and you cannot update. Another option for you would be to flash NON-ROOTED firmware, then use ####6020# to change region code and go for normal update. That's because you will loose root after OTA update anyway.
