I have the lenovo yoga tablet 2 pro 1380f too and every time I try to root in cwm, i get an error saying "cant mount /sdcard/SuperSU-vX.X.zip
on SD card or ext SD, I have message can't mount :crying:

Please could someone help us to have this tablet finally rooted. ;)

That is exact the sample problem that i have.
I have an update.zip which worked for me once but i can't update supersu binaries over the app.

At the moment i have the problem that i got no external sdcard so i can't do anything.

The method described at the start of this thread worked fine for me - and of course my tablet (Yoga Tablet 2 13.3" LTE, german). Only thing I had to add was a reset to factory settings because a weird message kept popping up so I couldn't use the tablet; no problem for me since this tablet is brandnew. After reset the root-access remained and up-to-date everything works well. :eek:

Hope, this answer will help someone else.

my tablet is finally rooted and without rom install.

Install disk info and look at the number of your sdcard (must be mmcblk1p1) (if it is different, you need to fix the archive of: IntelAndroid-FBRL/FB_RecoveryLauncher/recovery.zip/etc/recovery.fstab

Now i also can flash from internal and external sdcard!
