It’s a beta 2 of Chinese version, the English version cannot accept updates, so no Google services, you need to install it by yourself.

My own experiment, 830f can also use this version for 1050F, but fonts will be very small, camera has a problem.

(1) wait for the BIOS update is complete.
(2) after the update is complete. shutdown brushes the Flash.XML, into 100% and select reboot to restart the tablet .


We have a small discovery：
How to flash Yoga from Android version to win8! Now, we have found a way to enter BIOS!
When lollipop version is downgraded to Kitkat version, if we choose the Flash.XML, it will reboot to desktop when a command is reboot into driodboot mode, This command will not work !
When the command is Sleep for 25 seconds on screen, Long press the power button about 10s directly to turn off the pad completely, Then press and hold the volume down key, Then press the power button, the pad will entry driodboot mode. Progress bar starts moving! wait for the flash is complete, reboot!
You will entry the bios!
You can seem to be flashing win8!
But we found that it appears to be unable to identify startup programs of win8……
People who are interested can try it.
But you may need to turn to the after-sales service to help you reflash android……

stuck without firmware

Hi guys, I tried to flash my 1050f using the software provided on this forum and the tool given. My computer stops at 80% of the process and won't go any further. the droidboot tells me that the old image has been deleted and its waiting for cmw to continue, but the computer says it is still running. I let it run all night with no luck-thankfully it has an awesome battery lol. I dont know what to do. right now it wont start up and the phone flash tool will not restore it correctly. I have followed the instructions as they have been given. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I see you can enter bios, but nothing is working properly to install windows 8 right? bodivas, can you try this to see what happen on a windows 8 install?

Hello! I have my device with the same firmware and I am root. I used the usual root method and it works fine. JFYI, I use the Intel android FBRL method to root the 1050L and it is pretty painless.

I do not think that entire firmware is available as of now, but if it is available, lenovo russian forums are the best bet. Try here: http://lenovo-forums.ru/files/file/817-yoga-tablet-2-10-прошивка-yt2-1050l-s0225-150422-row/

There is also an option on the top right corner to translate the entire page into English. Hope this helps!

Error for OTA patch

hi @ all
i have two yoga 2 8.0 tablets...
my first tablet has updated successfully after i changed the region with ####6020#.....
but when i try to do this with second tablet it shows this error : could not read factory ota patch from sd card , or the patch is not correct.
note that i updated my first tablet without any SD card...
can anyone help me please ??
