Another weird thing is I cant get to fastboot via holding volume down and power button... It says no command and when I press the power button it goes to Android system recovery which doesnt have any choce for fastboot. I got fastboot to work through adb.

This is a multi-step process. What exactly isn't working...i have a virgin mobile version, and didnt work for me, any solution for it

find the folder containing your fastboot and adb exe files. hold shift and right click on the folder, then in the menu choose "open command window here"When attempting to unlock bootloader I find my self lost there is not android directory on my laptop to where I can use the CD command even if select fastboot usb on my device![]()
No you can't it's a different phone with different hardware.Guys im on Desire 816G, its rooted and I installed CWM. Can I use the roms such as cyanogen 12 listed under desire 816? they dont seem to metion the desire 816g

OK, now I'm rooted.I still cannot have my phone connected with HTC Sync Manager,
tried some backpage tricks, but still no luck, even tried with other laptop still cannot.
Android version 4.4.2, sense 6.
Windows 7 32 bit
You may find installing Link2SD to be harder than expected; don't get discouraged. look around here, there will be helpOK, now I'm rooted.
tried using my friend's laptop. Win XP!
just follow the instruction and you will be OK.
but in my case, I'm using other Recovery link on youtube (6.0.51). recovery in page one gave me blank screen
now I'm restoring all my files back and install link2SD
