Rooting the samsung devices can be pain in the ass if you don't have any idea on which device are you trying the root by the given thread. Suppose if you try to install a twrp(a custom recovery ) of J200H LTE in the J200H Duos then its sure when you try to go to the recovery you wont see the twrp. Basically guys i want to help people who were stuck like me on rooting the SM-J200H/DD .

Well lets get started, Please dont try this on other varient because it wont work Its only for the J200H/DD . You can see it by taking out the battery and there will be a sticker with the info of IMEI and Device Name. First things first you will need a Odin to flash a custom recovery to your device i will show you the whole steps .
Step1: Download Odin .
Step2: Go to the Developer mode(If you cant see the developer mode in your mobile then go to about device and click the Build Number 7 times ) and in the developer mode Enable the OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging.
Step3: Download twrp and and SuperSU copy the SuperSU.zip in your SD card . Now all you need to do is boot the Mobile into the Download mode this can be done by switching off the mobile .Power down and wait for the Vibration of the mobile when the mobile vibrated then it means its powered down. Now to get into the download mode press all these three keys at a time Volume Down+Power+HomeButton . Now there is a screen that will say volume up to continue . Press the volume up button . Now If you see there is a FRP Lock if it is On then it means you havent turned on the OEM unlock but if you see FRP lock off you are good to go .
Step3 : connect your mobile to the PC using a usb cable and open odin . Remember to this click on the option of the odin and uncheck auto reboot. If you connect your mobile it will show "Added" if it doesnt show wait for some minutes until it shows added if it doesnt shows added this means your device is not connected to the computer (it may be problem due to the USB cable , i suggest you get the geniune one of the samsung) . Once you see the added button. Now there is AP button in the odin choose that and select the twrp.tar files that you have downloaded.Now we are good to flash a custom Recovery . Click on the start Now(please make sure all the things that i have said , you have done it properly ) . now if it says pass . Unplug the USB then now we need to do this thing press Volume Down+power+home Button(You need to keep pressing these three buttons after the screen goes off then immediately press Volume Up+power+Home Then wait for some time until a samsung j2 screen shows . Now If you see the Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) then this means you did what i had said if its doesnt shows the TWRP then you might not have followed the instructions properly.
Step4: With the SuperSU.zip in the Sd card which you had copies earlier we need that. Now click on the install and go to where you copied the Update.supersu.v2.46.zip and select that and then there is swipe to confirm the flash . Swipe !!. Now the SuperSU will be installed .Click on Reboot system. Once the device reboots then if you see the supersu app then you have successfully rooted you J200H/DD
I have made this post longer in order to make people understand it very clearly read the instruction properly if you dont then the phone wont root . It is good to follow the SIngle topics rather than many topics and get yourself confused . Please feel free to ask anything. .
you can use the similar method for other mobiles but you will need their own twrp for that which can be downloaded using google . !!! please make sure you choose the right Device Twrp .
