You're right, except if you need to take the phone to a service center, then it needs to be S-ON like factory default.

Some people have issues, some people don't. Also it depends where you are.

So I go back to S-on but I am unable to select S-off locked in sunshine because the prompt never comes up during sunshine procedure , any ideas on what might be going wrong ?

No I went completely stock, but I might have tried it on lineage at the time. Should I root the stock rom and install sunshine and run it again ?

Might have tried or tried it on lineage, pretty important stuff. Sunshine usually doesn't work on custom roms.

Well now I get SunShine is behaving in an unusual way warning , gives me a number to give to support.

Well no since it just came up , asked here maybe somebody has encountered this issue before .

Yes I have supersu, sunshine ends its process with reboot and then in the bootloader I see UNLOCKED(didn't change) and S-OFF instead of LOCKED S-OFF as I'd chosen . what I'm wrong?

Not sure. You should open a ticket on the Sunshine website since it's a product you paid for and those guys provide good support from what I've seen.

Ok it's worked! It was needed take sim card off!

Hey I am not sure if this is the correct thread for this so if I am in the incorrect place please kindly redirect me, but I really really need help. I can't get my HTC 10 to power on i have done a factory reset from recovery and cleared the partition. Here are pics of what it says in recovery.
