So I just finally finished fully flashing Verizon gs3 to sprint. I didn't use the paid version of cdmaws.
I used dfs demo
And qtps.
Pain in the the butt, but doable.

These dudes with sprint phones jumping on vzw towers with 3g. It's a 500 comment beast, I'm not even done reading the first Page. Can this be possible? I thought sprint phones needed all the dmu ha aaa stuff to get vzw data lol

From my experience it is. I have to do it for each Sprint phone i flash to big red! I'll look at it maybe I'll learn something lol.

Those are all the same prls i use when i flash Sprint phones to big red. Those only work for roaming on big red. If your flashing a Sprint phone to big red however it will only get you 1x. Try it you'll see what I'm saying. You need the keys and 10.key to get working 3g when you flash for service on big red or a big red mvno. I use the 0002.prl on my gs3 so i can get full 3g roaming on vzw lol.

So its possible to get 1x on big red without successfully writing ha and aaa secrets? That would be better than no data as I currently have. I tried setting those settings to vzw as you showed in your video in place of the ha and aaa but it didn't stick using dfs for me. Maybe it's just dfs? Or is it a sprint thing? So roaming on Verizon I don't understand the difference tween that and being flashed to them. It's using their towers in the end right?

That is one great thing about flashing. I can go through phones and still fransfer everything over. I even ported my number to Google voice today.

It's still difficult to get 3g on the vzw s3 but nothing as bad as Sprint lol. But none the less its doable....

I just flashed 52644 PRL and still no data. And I have the little roaming icon. What PRL do u use for your vzw flashing nevell? I guess I gotta flash back the st straight Talk PRL so it don't roam and kill my battery. I'm such a newb at this.
Do I absolutely need the vzw in the ha and aaa fields to make that work? I can't seem to write it with dfs.

I put it in the password field. The spi's had info I remember seeing in dfs it was 300 and 2. I still no go. Now I can't seem to get back into that field, the ha and aaa. It crashes. I but what's weird is there where 3 dots there, showing that the vzw stuck when doing it in dfs even tho it won't show in dfs when I read it. I think it's writing the ha and aaa just fine now. It just won't show in dfs (my theory)
