As Redmi as usual messes up naming convention, we ended up having three names for same device - Redmi Note 9 4G (CN), Redmi 9T (EU) and Redmi 9 Power (IN)
I had spent a day on best way to remove ads in our device and ended up reinstalling ROM altogether
I reached to Dev and he helped with progress on this here https://github.com/geoanto555/android_device_xiaomi_lime/issues/1

Usual device-specific Data Backup/unlocking/rooting warnings apply here, and this is just a guide
Req:
* SD Card or USB OTG
* Download latest Recovery https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=320361
* Download Stable ROM https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-12-0-stable-release.56191/ (You can experiment with Beta ROMs if courageous)
* Download Full fastboot MIUI image to recover phone in case required
* fastboot getvar product -> Should output "lime"

1. Unlock your phone via official unlocking tool (Yeah it still takes 7 full days)

2. Once unlocked, Boot to fastboot mode (Volume Down + Power when the phone is switched off)

3. Flash Recovery and boot TWRP using below commands

cmd>fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Sending 'recovery' (131072 KB) OKAY [ 3.037s]
Writing 'recovery' OKAY [ 1.198s]
Finished. Total time: 4.586s

cmd>fastboot reboot-recovery
Rebooting into recovery OKAY [ 0.006s]
Finished. Total time: 0.011s

4. After rebooting to TWRP, It'll show FBE Decryption failed. Even Formatting Data wont help

5. Mount USB/SDcard. Install .zip on OTG/SDcard via TWRP

6. Format /data after ROM is flashed

7. Reboot and Profit

Tero direct booting isn't supported by our device. After flashing recovery, reboot to recovery

Is this have the mi dialler and mi messaging?
Yes. Replaces Google Phone and Messaging app comes in Stock builds
Thanks for this Guide, I have installed weekly rom, but it has more lag and camera slowly open and take pictures? is stable like than?
Weekly builds are known for lags here and there. Better to stay with Stable builds. Use GCam they're better in custom MIUI builds

Sir can u confirm the youtube bug and streaming videos the screen is flickering?.
Haven't noticed it yet. Try clean flashing maybe
Thank you for the instructions bro! I successfully flashed the custom recovery, xiaomi eu rom and magisk. By the way is there a way to update the custom recovery without using computer? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can download stable zip and update via in-built updater or reboot to recovery, flash it
I need to record a conversation and quickly search for contacts in which firmware does this eat?
Try clean flash

Planning to move into Xiaomi.eu. Is the xiaomi.eu rom still has the same agressive ram management as the stock one?

well after all and all, its been installed

    my error

    flashed TWRP
    installed from via zip
    flashed magisk 20.3
wiped data (mistakenly thought it was this data), cache, and Dalvik
    didn't format data
    rebooted and got into bootloop

did it all again but still didn't install magisk, but forgot to format data hence I was getting the DBE: encryption error

started from the beginning, installed it, and then formatted data, from booted up, attempted to install magisk, got into a fastboot boot loop

downloaded magisk 21.4 installed the rom again and then this magisk

rom booted up, safety be working everything awesome

I can relock bootloader after install EU rom only if I have the global variant, right?
That's not what I mean, global Xiaomi phones are the variants that are sold outside of the China market.

Based on my own experience, you can relock bootloader with a different region of official ROM installed, on these variants of Redmi 9T: Turkey (QJQTRXM), Taiwan (QJQTWXM), Indonesia (QJQIDXM), Global (QJQMIXM), EEA (QJQEUXM) and India (QJQINXM).

And the ROM in this thread is the Xiaomi.eu custom ROM, unofficial, you can't lock bootloader with this ROM installed.

If you want to relock the bootloader, you have to install one of the official ROMs.
    1
Does it support root? If yes, magisk or something else?

Yes, you can flash Magisk in recovery and obtain root

i have installed rom zip via twrp for several time and all of it is finished without no error.
But when trying to reboot into system, it back into recovery again.
and, On reboot to system twrp screen, No OS Installed...

I have tried wipe dalvik, data and cache after installing rom zip, but problem still exist.

Please help me, where i was wrong?

    -----Already Found the mistake---

Maybe other may get the same problem

    On TWRP
    AFTER installing zip.
go to WIPE > FORMAT DATA (NOT ADVANCED WIPE OR ANYTHING)
    Then reboot.
