:highfive: i successfully installed HSPL, made my own Y-cable, used Sony Ericsson USB Card reader and Sony 4GB card(both came with Sony Ericsson W705) , worked like charm :good:
thanks for answer
i have tried 4 times and my friend
shadow86 a dev has the same problem
almost all att titan users have the same problem
do you have a att titan?
do you have a titan 2?
is there a way for us to get this problem fixed
and how can we help you?
Hello,
I don't have Titan 2. And other DFT members too.
But it can be another kind of the problem - I don't have TEST/MFG roms for Titan2 seems.
Without them it can be hard to do HSPL.
About AT&T Titan. . . my Titan is AT&T.
Can you make a usb log during installation once more?
Best regards,
-Cotulla
guys can someone help me to get this for cotulla
What did you do before it entered USB host mode?Hey guys i'm in a pinch, my AT&T stock Titan wont load any roms. I cant get the Euro rom on it or spl or anything. Just stays and Enter Usb Host mode... help?
He already posted this:What did you do before it entered USB host mode?
I've used this whole setup before on a different AT&T TITAN but had to get it replaced. When i got this one I tried it again and it didnt work. Obviously im doing something wrong, that's why I asked for help. and the phone is carrier locked. All my phones have been all to AT&T.He already posted this:

I strongly suspect he's doing something wrong or he'll have to change the micro sd adapter for a sd card reader.
All answers are in the treat, everyone that manage to do HSPL explained how was done, what equipment was used etc etc... so READ before postingI bought it on the internet, not so expensive. Anyway I tried the procedure but with no result. But I believe it's just me. That's why I asked for help, but nobody answered...
I wrote how i did it, i do not think its the procedure, but the hardware, try to find Sony Ericsson USB memory reader like this http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/images/so/sony-ericsson-memory-stick-micro-m2-usb-adapter--ccr-70.jpg and a Sony memory card like this http://www.intomobilephones.co.uk/application/media/accessories/742.jpg they both come from Sony Ericsson W705 package, worked for me like charm.I read all the posts at the beginning and I followed all the instructions. But I'm stuck at the beginning since I can't get the phone to read the gold card. I didn't read the whole thread because everyone explains what to do AFTER the gold card part, but I need help for the part BEFORE that.
I tried with two different sd cards. I patched with the gold card file before and after putting the file img on it. I tried connecting all the cables before and after connecting to the electric plug. I tried all the possible combinations, but when I enter in usb host mode it stucks and nothing happens. Just once it appeared "loading", but after half an hour still nothing else happened (it was stuck on "loading" and the sd card reader was off while its led was on at the beginning when it appeared the "loading" on the display). I really don't know what I did wrong. I'm asking for help. But all you can say is "read". I read and didn't find the answer, can you help me?
It worked for meOk, thank you. I will try finding new hardware. I already bought three sd card adapters...
I thought it wasn't the hardware because it almost worked once, so I believed it was something else. Anyway I will try again and see if I manage to make it work.
Anyway, the picture you linked shows a 4 gb card. But on the guide it says it must be either 1 or 2 gb card. Do you confirm it works with 4 gb as well?
Try a USB Flash drive, I had bought multiple SD cards with readers and no luck. Also, attach the drive last when making the connections with the y-cable.Ok, thank you. I will try finding new hardware. I already bought three sd card adapters...
