Yep, it will automatically open Zune the moment you plug the device to your PC; it has to have the connection when you execute HSPL/OSPL. I'm a little unclear on WMDC on the Win8 platform but my PC says its there. This is first time i hear that Zune can detect device in bootloader mode...

nikolaI have windows 8 proffesional too, but i have connection with PC since the HSPL wizard recognize my titan, its just that zune doesnt open by itself
You meant "DFT_HSPL_WP7SG1_INSTALL.exe" right?nikola
I have Windows 8 pro and zune never open by it self. It did with win 7
Did you execute *** rapitool.exe *** as administrator
The next time you try this remove your sim card before you start. Plase don't LOL just try.
1) device manager is same as yoursCould you (NuttyBuddy or berrywr) please let us know when you connect your device to your computer in bootloader (SPL mode) what does your computer's device manager report for the mobile device?
please check the pictures that i have included.
A couple of things you need to show us; one, do you know for a fact your device is debranded? I can't tell you how many times I did that only for my device to read HTC Titan PI39100; it must be HTC Titan x310e; you must allow your device to start up normally and you will know before it begins installing whatever apps that need to be installed. The second thing; when you flashed SPL205 did your device reboot one time and automatically re-enter USB Host Mode? Double check those two items, please!Ok, check out my entire process and my result for my HTC TITAN (ATT) which has been stuck on the 2.05 MFG since DFT released HSPL file.
1. Debrand successfully using 1.09 europe file.
2. Flash DFT MFG SPL 2.05 successfully
3. screen shot of the phone before flashing DFT HardSPL
4. screen shot of DFT HardSPL program before pushing HardSPL
5. screen shot of DFT HardSPL program showing successful installation.
6. screen shot of phone after DFT HardSPL.
------
Unfortunately not much left for us to try since i've been trying this multiple times.![]()
1. Yes, it's x310e once it's boot up.A couple of things you need to show us; one, do you know for a fact your device is debranded? I can't tell you how many times I did that only for my device to read HTC Titan PI39100; it must be HTC Titan x310e; you must allow your device to start up normally and you will know before it begins installing whatever apps that need to be installed. I feel bad for all of you given how close y'all are. Not to make y'all feel worse, the devices that are mimicking Nokia Lumia's...it's unbelievable the number of apps there are and how easy they are to download and add "conventionally" and via a much expanded Marketplace. Once you go this path; you won't settle for anything less. It irritates the you know what out of me how limited the "locked" Marketplace is. I will wait to hear from XDA and if the Windows Phone 8 devices can be interop/developer unlocked before considering any of them. The Titan II may be a bad omen of things to come; it may in fact be the end to our ability to customize these devices; only time will tell. From what I understand, the rapitool.exe is used when you run "DFT_HSPL_WP7SG1_INSTALL.exe" so you don't have to run it.
However, for the heck of it, I ran it but still doesn't do any good.
Now I wish that HTC/ATT allow us to upgrade to windows phone 7.8 and i'll be happy no need to do HSPL.![]()
For the life of me I've seen that exact same size file somewhere here before but I'm blank at the moment. This is the extracted HSPL flashable file from within DFT HSPL application?I dumped the HSPL from DFT package. Hope it will help someone.
One more thing I found out isAs i tried to flash that as ETERDIAG.nbh nothing happend, just Loading... I will try again i left him for about 15 mins but only Loading... On screen
Where can we get the new MTTY that work with Windows Phone 7? I have the old MTTY 1.42 from the old WM day. I've been searching for the new one but cant find anything and the old one can't detect my Titan via USB.One more thing I found out is
Use the MTTY to connect the phone in bootloader mode, and type "midw PI3911000" to change the mode ID of your phone.
Now you can flash the SPL 2.05 and EURO rom with RUU.
MTTY is the 1.42 or 1.47. Both of them are OK. And I can only connect the titan in the windows XP (XP in a virtual box, host is windows 7 64 bit. Host can not use mtty to connect titan). Make sure u have disabled the usb connection in the Windows Mobile async center.what is MTTY and did u managed to HSPL your at&t titan?
