Thanks for the guide! You can also disable multiple options at once in MyAndroidTools so you only have to reopen it once.

Thank you for the guide. After the last update my Google Play Services was preventing my phone from going into deep sleep and this seemed to fix the issue!
What wakeloocks can I deactivate?
It seems some of service always revert back to On everytime i reboot my phone, how to fix it? Its package measurement and analytics.

I'd have to disagree with the last comment that flat line is about 7 hours with no idle drain you should also disable nearby services and ANY other google services you don't use (games, fitness,calendar etc)

Disable calendar? Disable location? Why even have a smartphone?
I use location and calendar regularly. Even with Google now disabled, doing what was suggested in this thread has no impact
This thread was about disabling services you mostly don't need...like companies requesting your personal in-app interaction data everytime they feel like it. It was written to help people who experience drain/annoyance because of that fact.

I applied the first method and also disable the "net_scheduler" wakelock as sugested in the second approach.

It's really ridiculous that play service battery drain also happened on pixel, seems like google never care about the battery usage of their sevice and collect location and user data every few minutes.
After applying the changes, battery usage of play service decreased from 15% to 1%.

Just applied this. Any way more for me to find out what's idle drain? BBS really sucks in Nougat to find the root cause.

Not the point at all,the person was saying even AFTER doing the tips the person STILL had battery drain...l myself AFTER doing these tips get good battery life...

Try wakelocker detector and gsam, dumping google play services and using mircoG best batter by far. Just need a rom that supports signature spoofing and ur laughing.?
obviously I was misunderstood so let me explain a little more clearly...I also am on nougut and with these tips I do not have any problem with wakes from Google play..
