[GUIDE]Switch between Chinese I9100G & international I9100G SafeWay

Dear GT-I9100G community
This is a safe way To switch between Chinese I9100G & international I9100G

NOTE:THIS Method work for u if u want to install Stock Roms ... So if u want AOSP / AKOP / ROOTBOX .. ROMS u Don't Need this !!
Warning :This TUTORIAL Is FOR I9100G. WILL NOT WORK ON OTHER DEVICES. I DON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU MESS UP AND BRICK YOUR DEVICE OR ANYTHING ELSE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.


INSTRUCTIONS

First Do a Full Wipe From Recovery (Cache .. Data ..etc)
- Then Remove the battery and connect your i9100g with a USB cable !
- Manual Load Driver for OMAP4430 From usb_drv_windows folder (included in download content )
- if the device keep reconnecting automatically... then it's okey it's not a problem !
- If everything is okey then run omap4430hs_espresso_Inter i9100g.bat
- if it's done should take like 7s ... remove your i9100g from usb cable... boot into Download Mod You should be able to read ur Product Name... if it's I9100G_CHN_CHN then u didn't do like i say if u found Product name I9100G then Congratulation
- So If Product Name is i9100g Flash Any Stock ROM u want not Chinese Stock ROMS.
- when u finish flashing a stock rom make a full wipe again ( data ; cache ).
- Reboot

- If u got Inter I9100g or u want back your Chinese Stock ROMS Do the same but run this omap4430hs_espresso_Chines i9100g.bat

Thank you for your discovery. I have a Chinese I9100G myself, but I have no need for this at the moment as there are advantages to having a Chinese bootloader IMO. I will keep this for future reference though.

No chinese bootloader has function to clear count to zero in ics too

and it's good for us too so that we can try the chinese rom leaks .cuz,they are fast on relaeasing ROMs lol

Chinese ROM don't have google play store ... anyway if u want chinese Roms u can have it also if u want International I9100g u can have it ...

The key here seems to be that OMAPFlash will bypass the restriction of not allowing a different bootloader to be flashed onto the device.

What's different about the 2 zips in the OP is that they feature different sbl.bin (Secondary bootloader) files from Chinese versions and international versions respectively, which can be successfully flashed with this tool and therefore, transform your device from Chinese to Intl. or vice versa.

Yes. But it's not worth it. They haven't custom roms like cm, rootbox etc
