Looks like you are running a custom ROM based on GM21AA. The thread is for stock TMO versions ending in GM31CB.Hmm that's interesting. My phone must be a freak case then since it is a GM1915 running 11.0.3.1 but I'll remove my post to prevent any confusion

Thank you very much. Sorry for my insistance, but restoring image will wipe my phone unfortunatly, that's it ?No, NEVER flash the boot image for a version you are not running.
- In Magisk Manager, Tap Uninstall Magisk -> Restore Images
- Go to your phone Settings -> System -> System Update and take the OTA. Your phone will reboot automatically when it's done.
- Reboot to fastboot and flash the 11.0.1.4 boot image using instructions in the OP

Whoops posted the wrong screenshot lol. I must be confused because I didn't realize there were more than one T-Mobile version of the GM1915? I did a clean install on mine and it auto updated to 11.0.3.1 so I assumed everyone else's did as well. Sorry for the confusionLooks like you are running a custom ROM based on GM21AA. It won't wipe your phone. Restore Images just restores your stock boot image so you can do the OTA update.Thank you very much. Sorry for my insistance, but restoring image will wipe my phone unfortunatly, that's it ?
GM21AA is the unlocked international firmware. The T-Mobile branded devices are GM31CBWhoops posted the wrong screenshot lol. Mmm ok perfect. Thank you very muchIt won't wipe your phone. Restore Images just restores your stock boot image so you can do the OTA update.
After doing the OTA update, you will be on 11.0.1.4 and can flash the 11.0.1.4 boot image. You'll keep all your data.
This guide is specifically for stock T-Mobile firmware on devices that have been carrier unlocked.I am not very good with things like this. Am I supposed to download magisk to my pc or my phone? And what about the boot.img? Will this allow me to use international firmware?
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot flash boot_a magisk-patched-OOS-11.0-boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b magisk-patched-OOS-11.0-boot.img
fastboot reboot
Installed: 23.0 (23000) A/B: Yes
Ramdisk: Yes SAR: Yes
I finally got around to wanting to root my device and I am on the latest 11.0.1.6 version. Looking forward to this. Thank You!After reverting to 9.5.10 with the MSM tool, I was finally able to update to 11.0.1.6. I have to re-unlock my bootloader though, and I noticed that the OP unlock request link is no longer working. No idea what's going on with that.
Anyways, ill be posting the 11.0.1.6 patched boot today sometime.
extracted the boot.img from payload.bin with python.Im sorry but I only work with T-Mobile devices. I don't have any other firmware on hand and I do not have any way of testing things for other devices. How are you patching the boot image?
