I still cannot install any WW ROM, same fail/exit message

In software information in about phone it now says:

Build number CN_I001D_user_release-mr0

Extension ROM 1.1.102

Suggestions?

Have you tried the earlier 1907.33 raw rom from the concert to ww guide? Did that fail too?
I really don't know what to suggest here bud. Have you tried re downloading the WW raw incase of corruption...

Am I right in thinking that if the CN rom installed ok then I must have the correct drivers?

Secondly, converting from CN to WW involves doing the same thing as installing the CN rom, just with the WW ROM file? Are there any other steps that I should do?

I'll try your other suggestions, unfortunately I've hit the MEGA cap so will try again tomorrow

Well I'm no pro, but yeah, if the CN rom flashed then I really don't see why the WW one won't, drivers must be good.

The link in that thread to 1907.33 has a space at the beginning that must be removed, the user didn't have enough posts at the time to make live links...

Also, I've manually updated the chinese ROM to 1910.

I was, the original ROM was WW 1906 with CN fingerprint (bought from ebay)

I thought since the guide was for 1910, i should start from step one and upgrade to that version first before trying to change the fingerprint. Anyway I cant get back there now anymore.

A 1906 CN ROM I had earlier found was the only RAW file that worked. Not had a chance to use your one as the mega cap hit me. (To add to my nightmare I have somehow lost all the RAW images I downloaded today so i have to download everything again.)

HWinfo currently says:
Product ID: CN_I001D
Description: CN_Phone-user 9 PKQ1.190414.001 16.0631.1910.34-0 release-keys
Fingerprint: asus/CN_I001D/ASUS_I001_1:9/PKQ1.190414.00/16.0631.1910.34-0:user/release-keys

@reg66 i have good news..

I heard from my sister, my phone has been brought to the Asus service center, tomorrow it can be taken because it has already been fixed. tomorrow I have returned from my job, tomorrow morning I want to take it directly to the Asus service center. But Asus tells me he installed the latest Chinese room. I still want to use the global version. if i follow the steps like you gave .. could it be possible another error? can you guide me one by one, so that no mistakes I have ever made.
if I have updated to the latest global version. how do I update the version if the new latest version exists ?? can you teach me how to update the latest version if there is one???
if im unroot and relock the bootloader... can i still update the latest version global? how to update it automatically or still have to be manual ??

u can try plugging the cable ori to side port usb type C on the rog phone..
no flash pluggin cable to under usb type c port on the phone..
this just my opini...

I would like to ask. Other methods i found on utube started on flashing WW first before unlocking the bootloader. Which comes first good sir? As well do I need to enable usb debug during flashin WW firmware? Thanks ahead

If you're more comfortable following the YouTube video, just download all the relevant files and follow that order. Flashing raw rom after unlocking bootloader won't relock it, so it doesn't matter.
Tbh, I can't remember if I had debug enabled or not... You could always enable it, it won't hurt I don't think

Did you extract the folder to root of c drive? Have you removed original zip from that folder before running flashall_AFT.cmd? Are you using the side port of the phone? And is it in fastboot mode?

So my experimenting today has revealed this:

Absolutely no WW raw rom will install. I've tried 19.06, 19.08, 19.10

Of the CN raw ROMS, 19.08 installs and can be manually updated to 19.10

Has anyone else been through this and figured out a solution. I have the 10cent version 8/128gb

Wow dude, sorry to hear that. Really not sure what to suggest, it's most strange that CN works but WW doesn't. Can you return it to the seller explaining the fingerprint did not match, so updates were impossible - hence the need to change things yourself... EBay and PayPal are pretty good at stepping in if need be...
