If you relock the bootloader you should receive OTA updates again (let me know if you don't know how to relock it) but if you only want to get the latest firmware then it's quite often a lot quicker to download it yourself and flash through odin.

Thank you very much I am grateful to you friendPower off the phone.
Press and hold down vol+ and vol- then plug in the usb cable from your pc.
The download page will appear and choose device unlock mode and choose relock.
But bear in mind you will lose all your data doing this.
Does anyone have fix for this ? Root seems to break connection with smart watch . I tried all possible fixes but no luck .I tried to root my phone following this steps (twice) but it didnt work. I finally made it using the 4 files, included magisk patched AP, and csc file (not home csc). Unfortunately I got rid of the root cause I couldnt connect my smartwatch. In the past I downloaded modules from magisk manager to access my smartwatch. This time I couldnt find the magisk link to modules. I cannot live without my watch so bye bye root.![]()
Your warranty is now void.
If you root your device, Your KNOX status will be tripped.
You can still pass the safety net after you root if you follow the instructions.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards although it is not really possible
Please do some research if you have any concerns about doing this to your device
Flash the Magisk patched AP file in the AP slot and the HOME CSC in the CSC slot, I wouldn't go flashing anything in the USERDATA slot that sounds like bad advice. My bootloader is unlocked as previously I had root it and went back to official firmware. Now I want to have root but without losing current data..Thanks
For all devices but USA locked Snapdragon
Yes, that is the correct way to re-rootFlash the Magisk patched AP file in the AP slot and the HOME CSC in the CSC slot, I wouldn't go flashing anything in the USERDATA slot that sounds like bad advice.
