Well, I didn't get any donation these days. And I'm not the guy selling unlock files. You can try to contact the guy.
But the way, I have mentioned in the tutorial, it's recommended to follow the automatic method. Once you have unlocked your phone, you can get the unlock file by yourself.

in fact I thought it was you, who had done the tutorial, to edit the files for unlocking. I have been writing to him by email for several days but he does not answer me and he does not send me anything. I did the old method because it was cheaper, and because it was equally simple. So in my situation what do you advise me to do in case she doesn't answer me? In case I do the downgrade method, do I need to have the phone unlocked anyway?

Well, If you have Alipay or wechat pay, you may use the automatic method and pay with CNY, 60CNY, about 9 US dollars.
And you can also try to contact him via email, or via paypal by donating him another cent! (0.01$ to make him notice your message).
In fact, to downgrade, you DO NOT have to unlock your phone, as long as you have the firmware that can be flashed via QFIL (I have explained several twice?)
But to go global, I don't think you can find a rom that can be flashed directly via QFIL.
We don't have the global firmware, only the Chinese firmware. (NOTE: NOT update.zip from official site.)
If you can find the global firmware, you can then downgrade using it, or you can only downgrade using the Chinese firmware.

thanks for everything. On the guide it said that it was required to unlock the phone to do the downgrade, so I had not taken that route. I tried and in fact everything went well, now I have the global !!

Hello ... I updated my 16s M971Q to flyme 8.21.1.22 android 10 but unfortunately I put the rom china and it doesn't make me do the downgrade neither with update nor with QFIL. Bootloader is unlcked and
I tried to flash the twrp recommended in the first post but it doesn't start ..... do you have any advice?

where did you get the rom? Try the rom provided in the guide or provide error info please.

I got the rom on flyme sign telegram 8.21.1.22 .... now the cell is stopped in fastboot when the Chinese writings come out at the bottom and QFIL does not start the flash in EDL. It does not go into recovery !!!!!

well, use the rom provided in the guide, and flash it via QFIL

should i unlock my bootloader If I want to flash stock firmware OG to Ru russin rom , with Qfil ?

    There seems to exist a new method: It is said to work on Qualcomm devices.
    First, dump frp partion, then edit the value to 1 at 7fff0, finally, flash the modified frp image. then you can use fastboot command to unlock your phone.

    This new method shall work for for ODM devices like 16T, 16x, 16xs and Note9 and so on. see FRP Method.

    You can try it yourself. I think it should work. I mentioned 16xs in the chinese version tutorial, but 16x in the English ver.?

    You have to use the firmware ( Rom for unbricking ) provided in the tutorial.

    just prog_firehose_ddr.elf
    and prog_firehose_lite.elf
    am i doing something wrong?

    You can use prog_firehose_ddr.elf instead. When you unlock your phone, you will be able to flash TWRP, then flash the global ROM. you will stay unlocked until you lock it manually.

    BTW, for 16xs you should use the FRP method, which means you do not need the firmware? You can try it directly or flash to chinese version then try this method.
