there's one hboot in post #1 that clearly suitable with KitKat but with a red note from you. so I assume that is not safe for me to continue as you said I could brick mine. am I right?

@Flashalot - Sorry for the question, but I would like to go to STOCK ROM and I am not sure how I can do it.

I see TAMPERED and UNLOCKED in FASTBOOT mode.

The only RUU for HTC One Mini that I found is this:

I am S-ON.

Can I use this RUU to go to the STOCK ROM status?

Read the OP mate, theres A list of error handling startegies... just “click to show content” under ZIP Flash How To.

error 155 - you did not lock your bootloader (Needs a relock for S-ON phones that want to update the firmware)

It should work flash stock recovery then run it if it fails with a error look in the op for it

I've tried to run the FUU file and it identified my phone as well as a lower version number firmware that it'll update to. it goes into the update process with "sending" bar and status message going on indefinitely. However it has been going on for more than 30 minutes and I'm not sure what is going on, or should I remove the usb cable and start over? Please advise. Thank you.

Back to Stock ROM

Hi guys,

I have a question. I dont know how i can go back to stock rom

This is how my bootloader looks:

*** Unlocked ***
M4_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RL

Recovery is TWRP.

The reason why I want to go back from Custom ROM (InsertCoin) to Stock ROM is that the phone always shuts down the system. Even if there is more then 40% battery. After the system shuts down i can not restart the phone. Also i cannot load it and the computer does not recognize it.
Could that be an error with the ROM? Or maybe the HBOOT?

I got the phone from a friend with this error. Dont know what to do.

Now the question is how can i get back to Stock ROm, my idea would be

Install Stock Recovery (this one O2 1.31.206.1) but I have the 1.33.206.1 is this a problem?

The stock recovery will be installed with ADB console and the phone must be in fastboot. Right?
To flash the recovery i have to RELOCK my bootloader with the following command:
"fastboot oem lock" right

What do I have to do after I have flashed the stock recovery. I dont have a backup of my system. So can I take this RUU:

I have an european phone and this RUU seems to be US. Is it nevertheless possible? MIt CID is the 11111111

Hmm I don't know if this helps me.

My plan is to take this version

and flash it like this

Download ROM and place it on your virtual SD card
Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol down + power)
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of the Stock ROM
After flashing process is complete,Wipe Cache and Dalvik, reboot the device enjoy!

If coming from older versions of android or getting stuck on boot animation please don't forget to fastboot boot.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Will it also work with S-OFF? I read the whole 34 sites and there are different opinions to this.

usually I used flashdisk and usb otg for install any ROM.

1. install FUU
2. install recovery
3. copy your ROM to flashdisk
4. used usb otg to connect flashdisk
5. over recovery mount usb flashdisk
6. install over flashdisk ROM zip

FUU make re partition your internal sd and install kernel.

because Insert coin used new partition layout you must change with old partition.

no problem with S-OFF

Frist of all thx @410eaL for the really quick answers.

But there is one problem

So I have a USB OTG cable + flashdisk and enough different rom on it.

Problem I can not install the FUU. The whole time it says "sending" but after 15 minutes nothing changed. So if I try to install this:

it will change my HBOOT? Right? Is this a problem? Can I get back on HBOOT 2.19.0000 if there are any problems?

Next question ist how to flash this? What command do I use? Or can I flash the "HbootMOD_4.3_Mini.zip over OTG cable in my recovery version? Or is this the right command "Fastboot flash zip firmware.zip" and I have to do it in the fastboot mode?

Do I have to relock the bootloader BEFORE?

Because I saw in the recovery that my internal SD Storage is not recognized. It has 0MB.

I'm really confused although I read a lot of threads in here.

Hope you can help me. Hope to get phone back to life.

EDIT:

Ok now i have installed the FUU (now HBOOT 2.21) and the newest version of TWRP (2.7.1.1).

But I still have the problem, that my internal storage has 0 MB

What can I do?

I have an european phone but I have SuperCID, so I should be able to flash? Do I have to relock the bootloader? What happend after installing this? Am I still SuperCID, S-Off and rooted/unlocked?

Hello hopping you guys can help. Im trying to return to stock so I can send my phone in for warranty for the purple tint on the camera. Im on the latest firmware and running InsertCoin 3.0.7 my

bootloader is relocked
cid 1111111
hboot 2.22.0000.
radio 1.28

question is since i have supercid can I just run the AT&T RUU to get back to stock JB? or do I run the FUU and downgrade my Hboot and then flash?

I think you have to downgrade firmware first. At least I had to.

No you don't have to change cid, since you are scid. But I had to downgrade firmware to run that ruu even though I was a-off.
