After flashing all, when I reboot in bootloader I have blue ZTE logo and noting happens.
Is it normal?
I can boot in recovery or rom so it doesn't matter, but I wonder :)
Yes, It is normal. The Fastboot interface is not there, but it is actually nor required. New boot stacks at least ensures the EDL mode is available through the button combo.

Did you flash the bootstack? Did you wipe your device partitions (cache, dalvik, system and data) before flashing? Your issues are consistent with those mistakes. You shouldn't have any problem. What ROM are you using?
Sorry for answering a bit late. I've indeed done both of these things. I've also recently experienced issues with the touchscreen not receiving input anymore, as well as MMS not being sent, in case it can help finding the problem.

I hope something can be done. Thanks

You can clean your internal storage too to ensure everything is brand new. To narrow down the problem you can try other rom flavors and install only the minimum apps /tweaks.

last update I did I used TWRP v3.2.1-7, B32-B10 Bootloader, RR-O-v6.0.0-20180511-axon7-Unofficial, APNlist_v1.1.2018-05-12, OpenGAPPS ARM64, 8.1, Micro, Hellsgate Kernel v2.3.
will a dirty flash work over this? do I need to update to the b12 bootloader and flash the Hellsgate X12 Kernel?

Unfortunately a Dirty flash is not possible when switching from the nougat bootstack based roms and new Oreo Bootstack based roms. Once you update to the new Oreo Bootstack, then you will be able to dirty flash to newer revisions. I advice the use of Titanium Backup to backup and restore all the apps and their app data.

I will see that issue with paypal. I changed it to the donation link.

Have been on AEX 8.1 build from last weekend , with Schwifty kernel ( didn't touch any kernel tweeks) & added the JoJoc battery script, but seeing pretty poor battery life after using it all week.
JoJoc worked a treat on stock N ROMS. Guess I'l wipe & redo & stick w/ stock kernel to see if it improves. At least I've solved my BT metatdata in the car problem by switching to Rocket Player.

I am now testing LXT™ 3.3 Butterfly profile on HellsGate X12 with excellent standby battery life.
I've been using Rocket Player for a while since it has a nice Android Auto interface. I'm glad to see that it also solved your BT issue.

Dear friends,

I am experimenting with a faster way to get all the packages in the OP done with fewer steps. So, I have created a flashable EDL package of my current firmware mix. So far, I just need help on testing this package for stability. So, if you have experience with MiFlash or any other EDL flashing tool, and want to collaborate on this project, just download, flash and test.

WARNING, THIS GUIDE WILL WIPE ALL THE DATA IN YOUR DEVICE.
!!! Whatever you do, it is at your own risk !!!

FEATURES:

  • Universal Package for A2017, A2017G and A2017U
  • EDL accesible through Volume buttons combo.
  • No Bootloader menu message.
  • My custom Oreo Bootloader (call it Oki remix if you want)
  • TWRP 3.2.2-0 recovery (provides adb interface)
  • HellsGate X12 Kernel (Thanks to Kranoner for this excellent Kernel)
  • AEX 5.7 20180711 System by NFound (I like RR more than AEX, but I admit most of you prefer AEX, so I am preparing this package with the last NFound's AEX)
  • OpenGAPPS Micro 2018.07.05
  • Magisk 16.6
DOWNLOAD:

INSTALLATION:

  1. Un7zip the package to a folder, ensuring there are no errors. I have an A2017U, so the American modem is the package default. If you have an A2017 or A2017G just copy your modem firmware, from the corresponding provided modem subfolder, to the main folder. Just overwrite the default American modem file.
  2. Install MiFlash in your PC. It includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC drivers, nonetheless you can always install the latest drivers.
  3. Enter EDL mode using one of the following options:
    • by pressing VolUp+VolDn+Power until the power led flashes briefly
    • opening a terminal app and typing reboot edl inside it
    • connecting your phone to your PC and typing adb reboot edl at your computer's command prompt.
  4. If you haven't done yet, it's time to connect your phone to your computer.
  5. Open MiFlash in your computer.
  6. Click Browse button and select the folder you created with the firmware files.
  7. Click Refresh button and your device will appear listed as virtual COM port.
  8. Click Flash button and wait for a few minutes until it finishes. Note the bottom options are not applicable.
  9. To ensure everything is clean you should format the DATA partition, including internal storage. Just boot to TWRP recovery by pressing VolUp+power, go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe, select Data partition and tap on Repair_or_Change_File_System button and then on Change_File_System button. Select F2FS and confirm action. Do the same to apply F2FS to the cache Partition.

You are ready to go, just reboot to system and check if you have mobile network, wifi, etc.

This is just a proof of concept. Flash at your own risk. Obviously this procedure has been tested and validated in my system, an A2017U. I just need confirmation that works as good as it does in my system. If this proof of concept works, I will be releasing the complete optimization suite, including integrated V2A, battery optimization tweaks, etc.

Happy flashing!!!!

Hi,

Just finish flashing on 2017G (so I used correct modem).
It seems all is working like a charm (restoring from my google account in progress) :)
Nice job Oki :good:

I'll tell later if I have issue.

uhmm..help!
Wanted to try out DU, grabbed the needed files, booted to TWRP wiped all but internal storage, rebooted to recovery, tried to start the flash sequence with the BL, but cannot get the (2 now) Msd cards to show in TWRP, I select external_sd, and it shows nothing. I have TWRP set to install zips, but they aren't showing . Verified that they ARE on the card via my desktop. Any suggestions, as I use this phone for work & need it working. Thx

Sometimes the zips are corrupted. You should always check the zip files for corruption. Try downloading the files again and flash them again. Without functional sdcard you can always use sideload adb to flash again the zips.

Alternatively you can try using the experimental EDL package I provided in the last post. That way you can recover a working framework. From there you should recover control and then download the DU files and flash the rom bypassing the bootstack.

But *all* the files being corrupted? I would have to doubt that. Not sure I have the skillz to manage your EDL method..I barely got this unlocked & rooted the first time =)

Affirmative! And I tried 2 different cards, same result.

---------- Post added at 01:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:32 PM ----------

Trying your edl method , as I'm starting to worry, d/l the package swapped in correct G modem, but am a bit confused by this part:
"Enter EDL mode by pressing VolUp+VolDn+Power, opening a terminal app and typing reboot edl inside it, or connecting your phone to your PC and typing adb reboot edl at your's computer command prompt.
If you haven't done yet, it's time to connect your phone yo your computer."
My phone currently has no OS, and is powered off. Pressing the 3 buttons doesn't change anything, I see a quick blip on the red led, nothing more. I'm assuming that in order to connect to the phone thru the PC, it needs to be on, but the closest to "on" I can get is the ZTE boot logo...

LOL...OK, whew! Forgot that you can hit a terminal thru twrp, got into edl, was able to flash oki's package successfully....seems like I am back up, now if only my msd card slot still works correctly...thanks oki!!!!

When you press VolUp+VolDn+Power, if you see the red light, you are in EDL mode. At this point you should see your phone detected by MiFlash.
It could help next time ;)
