Hello everyone.

Since quite a few people are experiencing different issues with LTE not working (Being stuck on 3G) I figure I’d try making a megathread about it and different methods you can try.

---
Method #1
---

The ltefix that was posted here(https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon/help/4g-t3533878) by @weard1212
(Requires unlocked bootloader/recovery)

Step One: Download the ltefix.zip from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3995004&d=1483852838
Step Two: Go into recovery, and flash the zip.
Step Three: Reboot
Step Four: Go into Settings, Cellular Networks, and Access Point Names.
Step Five: On the top right hand corner, hit the three dots, and hit Reset to Default.
Step Six: Reboot!

---
Method #2
---

Reseating the SIM
Step One: Shutdown Phone
Step Two: Pull out battery and SIM
Step Three: Put battery back in and reboot.
Step Four: After rebooted, shut back down again and pull battery.
Step Five: Put SIM back in, and boot up the system.
---
Method #3
---
LineageOS & EMotion only method (As far as I am concerned anyways.)
Personally worked for me.
Step One: Download the ltefix.zip from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3995004&d=1483852838
Step Two: Go into recovery, and flash the zip.
Step Three: Reboot
Step Four: Boot back in, go into Settings and go to Wireless & Networks, Network settings reset, and reset the settings.
Step Five: Go into Cellular Networks, and go to APN, edit the “Straight Talk Verizon”
Step Six: Eventually, the fields will become empty(If it doesn’t happen, I would try it anyways)
Step Seven: Replace everything with the Verizon settings from https://bestmvno.com/apn-settings/verizon-wireless-apn-settings/ (Including the Name, APN, and all of the addresses)
Step Eight: Right hand corner, three dots, save.
Step Nine: Turn on Airplane Mode and Off

You could possibly have LTE by then.

If you find any methods that worked for you let me know so I can add it to the thread.

awesome idea, the above worked for me to get the "4g" symbol back, but i wasn't getting the right speeds at all until i tried this APN setting from @dhplap
Name: Verizon Internet
APN: vzwinternet
APN Type: default,dun,supl
APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
MCC is 311
MNC is 480

everything else blank, this gave me proper speed.
