With hacked unlock app, you don't reach Asus site but intercept handshake localy to grant unlockI tried the way you suggested, but now:
- (oddly) I no longer reach asus.com from the embedded browser
- before using the unlock app I always get this error:
"Client TLS handshake failed. The client may not trust the proxy's certificate for android.clients.google.com:443 (OpenSSL Error([('SSL routines', '', 'no suitable signature algorithm')])"
- when I use the unlock app, mitm just reports
- "[00:13:31.406][192.168.1.111:55776] client connect
- "[00:13:31.413][192.168.1.111:55776] error establishing server connection: [Errno 11001] getaddrinfo failed
- " [00:13:31.457][192.168.1.111:55776] client disconnect"
- djibe Transformer Pad TF300T pack v3: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=17825722713688260169
(contains Windows MTP drivers + ADB & fastboot drivers + Asus UnLock_Device_App_V7_update.apk + DMclient.apk for TF300T + ESFileExplorer 4.0.4 + KingoRoot 4.4.3.apk + official TWRP recovery 3.4.0-0 + Magisk root).
### Use Incognito web browser mode if needed to download pack.
Unzip pack on Windows desktop.
Hi, thx for reporting this issue: https://anonfiles.com/o2ydE3v9zf/djibe_Transformer_Pad_TF300T_pack_v3_zipThis link appears to be broken, androidfilehost seems to be unable to find mirrors for this download. I've had a quick skim through this thread to see if it's been mention elsewhere, but appologies if i missed it. Is there any other source for this download? Thanks in advance![]()
Hi, in these conditions it worked for me just a few months ago.I’m assuming no one has been able to find a way around the error with unlocking the bootloader? I have the same problem with the same error doesn’t matter what I try same problem. Tablet is more or less useless now and Asus have been pretty much useless, they told me to use kingoroot to unlock the bootloader haha.
Hmmm unfortunately I only have one computer to try it on and for some reason mitmproxy 9.0 was the only version that would work on my computer, I think I tried 5.0 7.0 8.0 and none of them would launch. I guess I’ll just keep trying when I can. ThanksHi, in these conditions it worked for me just a few months ago.
Try and retry with various computers, networks etc...
I already wrote about this method above.Thank you very much, it worked for me, it took two weeks of work
Tab: Asus Transformer Pad TF300T, Android 4.2.1
Build number: JOP40D.US_epad-10.6.1.27.5-20130902
Win: Windows 10, 21H2
Mitmproxy version: 7.0.4
More details:
5) After installing Mitmproxy version: 7.0.4 created a shortcut to mitmweb.exe. In the properties of the shortcut on the "Compatibility" tab, I specified "run the program in compatibility mode with Windows 7". After that, I run the Mitmproxy shortcut in administrator mode.
Next, according to the instructions, the bootloader was unlocked.
I did get mitmproxy working 7.0.4 but unfortunately still cannot unlock bootloader still comes up with the unknown error, I will try again when I get access to another computer, unless anyone knows how to do it on a Mac…I already wrote about this method above.
Worked on Android 7, it is very slow for me. Therefore, I flashed it to Android 6.

Hi, did you try to desactivate the Force GPU option for performance reasons ? It is reset at every restart.I already wrote about this method above.

Just to understand that correctly: Using UnLock_App_V7_update.apk and the TF300T variant of DMClient.apk the unlock should work even with the Asus servers being permanently down? Is the UnLock_App_V7_update.apk the hacked app you mentioned? With hacked unlock app, you don't reach Asus site but intercept handshake localy to grant unlock

I had mitmproxy running and tried the various options mentioned in this thread but the unlock failed. Rooting worked and file exchange with ESExplorer also worked. FYI: The odex file for DMClient was not regenerated in my case. Running v4.2.1.

I was under the impression that ONLY the data partition benefits from converting to f2fs
I can't tab Micro SDCard, only internal storage.
Have no Idea why I can't choose the SDCard.
Has anybody an answer for me?
I did not attempt to dowload it cause I was afraid that it will not be strictly the same version. But experimentation is the base of the learning. Thank you
