Quick Update: Moto Z Play XT1635-02 (to be precise) unbrick files are ready but the device is not currently available at hand to make a live video tutorial or graphical illustrations with. However, I will be using a similar device to make an illustrated tutorial which shall be published soon.

Until then, I shall update you guys again.

Sure!! How did you stay in brick? That stopped doing or how the phone remained before solving it, you flashed? If you can give us more information, please

let me tell you my story when i was trying to flash Moto Zp with unlocked bootloader. mistakenly flashed wrong frimware after that my screen goes blank and flashing led light no fastboot boot mode nothing just showing qualcomm 9008 driver even pressing vol down power for 30 sec nothing happend

i searched alot but no luck
after that i decided put usb cable and keep pressing for 1 mint vol down and power for shutoff my device after 1 mint i just release power button
i feel amazed my phone start in fastboot mode again
after that i flash it with asia retail rom 6.0.1
now phone is alive

Both methods described didn't work for my Moto
The flashall is not recognizing the device, even if it is present in Windows Device Manager.
And the Loader.img is not booting.

I don't think that aryk.tech page is going to be much help for us right now. I think their solutions revolve around what may have worked for older 6.x.x OS's and not newer 7.x.x+ ones.
The QHS-USB QDLoader Drivers they suggest are very old and don't seem to even support firehose download that is needed for these new devices. (blankflash errors out super early vs the drivers that come with QPST.2.7.460 actually seem to talk to the phone for a bit before timing out)
I think there idea of trying to boot a loader off the SD card could help if we got a instructions how to get a loader from a 7.1 phone however! Here is hoping they make some progress!

I did try both their suggested fixes with the loader DerSal3m posted and got no where...

Please guys try to visit your nearest Motorola service centre. I tried to give my phone to them and they changed the logic board and they didn't charged any money as my device is in warranty

Service center is 3rd party here and they wont touch bootloader unlocked phones - they check ESN/IMEI and wont touch. If you can suggest a place to send it to in North America that will take it - I would send it off today!
