Is it worth to put effort into removing bloatware and keep the stock ROM? As stock rom isn't good anyway, I would flash new rom instead.

Is it safe to uninstall Gmail and YouTube? Gmail app is a pain and I use Vanced YouTube. Or can I just disable them with this tool?
Which app is the updates services, can I remove it safely?
I don´t want any update, I know that after some updates mobiles starts to has problems as the battery drain ot other anoyying issues.

I'm not getting an MTP option when i plug in my phone (enabled developer options and USB debugging). Even inside developer options theres no MTP, just MIDI, PTP, USB tethering and file transfer. Installed ADB as per XDA tutorial, used ".\adb devices" and its come up with an number that has no bearing to my X3. Anyone got any ideas?
Finally i´ve discovered what happens,it seems that AMD FX doesn´t likes adb mode so with my laptop with an intel cpu it works perfectly.

Nevermind, turns out the number was my serial number and got it to work. I disabled Gmail rather than uninstall it just in case (as it wasn't on the safe list). Everything seems to be fine, phone rebooted perfectly fine and all accounts are syncing.
Anyone having issues with the camera? I get this when recording or when switching between modes

I uninstalled Youtube and google maps using first method. Then went to google play in order to install them as ordinary application that can be uninstalled without special privileges. I was surpriced how fast the were "downloaded" from google servers. In fact they were not!. They were on my phone despite my effort with uninstall in adb mode. As a result those two apps cannot be uninstalled in normal mode. They were only updated in playstore not fully installed. Other google maps however can be uninstalled i.e google pay, news. Do you know how to completely delete Youtube and then reinstall clean version?
It seems that the lense is broken, did your phone fall?
Anyway i think you could try installing some apps that you uninstalled. But everything of the safe list doesn´t produces such efect in the camera.
Nope, it didn't fall. I think it happened even before I did the bloatware clean
it is safe. i was in miui 12.0.2 when i removed youtube and replaced it with vanced. when i updated to 12.0.3, all smooth.

Yeah, me to. Switching completely to custom ROM NitrogenOS. I don't need to bother about MIUI anymore
Same here and installed vanced. This is my first Android phone and I had no issues with ADB or removing bloatware. Maybe you need to double check and try again? Everything removed fine for me. Removed all the bloatware except clock and notes.
