Yo any one has updated on this?
I have a new honor 9 lite and right now huawei support will not give you the unlock bootloader code
And I don't think there is any other methode than that one
If you know something it may help a lot of people that are in the same situation

Downloading the software is free but it didn't recognize my phone and honor 9 lite is not on the list.
Is there really no way to root my device?

For what purpose? Are they gonna unlock the bootloader of your device
