[GUIDE] UNLOCK Legend Bootloader keep it simple, go back to your rom or flash others

I am currently on CM 7.1 Latest nightly dated 022012.

Now I need to unlockmy boot loader so follwoed your instructions.

My problem started with "HTC Sync".

As my computer is upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit, Sync no longer recognises my device as "connected device".

However in Device manager it shows - ADB Device - MY HTC (No issues).


On command prompt I tried -- " ADB Devices". It gived me HTCXXXXX ffline


"ADB SHELL" Gives me error as device offline.

Can some one guide me to Use HTC Sync.

I tried n number of drivers on internet for HTC,
I have rebooted several times my pc and Mobile.

I have marked "USB Debugging" as allowed.


WHAT DO I DO NOW ?


SOLVED!!!! ADB was broken to due to one of nightlies. Now after 7.2 rc1 adb is back and I was able to successfully unlock and also flash recovery..

i think you need to run your cmd as administrator.

here's a short cut.
go to the folder where you put your adb.exe and make a shortcut.
the windows shortcut wizard will ask you what to shortcut.
just put "cmd" in the field and next you can name the shortcut to what you want.

if you have made your adb folder as system variable path. than you can put this shortcut anywhere like in your desktop.

else as you are still in the folder with the adb.exe and other stuff with the new cmd shortcut. right click on the shortcut and select properties. empty the "start in" field as the shortcut will direct cmd to whereever you put the shortcut. than still in the properties window, click the advance and tick the "run as administrator" and you are done...



and your adb should work with this cmd short cut.

can you screen your bootloader?
I think that you skipped some step in guide, as i, i got this error too.

You need get unlock key on email
