Yes, as I said, you can use this to connect any test points or to the battery or whatever. Even if you cannot do it for the first time, you can try it as many times as you like. But I'm sure it will work. In the video tutorial they will actually show you how to connect and where.

What is the difference between the two methods they provide? One is 2 euros and the other is 5 euros. Which one should I get to unlock the bootloader?
Don't do debranding - it's a totally different thing. Just go for unlocking, I think it's the more expensive one.

Yup. I can confirm that for 5 Euros you get your phone fully unlocked - simlock, fastboot and bootloader at once (I did it one hour ago) ;) So it not only makes Bootloader unlock allow from NO to YES, but it actually UNLOCKS the bootloader ;) I recommend you this method. It's cheap and easy ;) My phone now runs on Rage Kernel 3.0 :) I think you should edit OP Fantomas. a little bit ;)
