Yup. I can confirm that for 5 Euros you get your phone fully unlocked - simlock, fastboot and bootloader at once (I did it one hour ago) So it not only makes Bootloader unlock allow from NO to YES, but it actually UNLOCKS the bootloader I recommend you this method. unfortunately, Xperia S is not supported 'yet' they say. I don't know if it will be supported in the future. If you don't want to wait, you might want to try this: phoneunlockserver.com

Try updating your Flashtool to the latest version, I used to have some problems flashing and they were gone after the update. Have you unlocked your bootloader? Or was it like this when you bought the phone?

I dont know, in the service menu I see that NO, but in my logs I see the bootloader is unlocked, when I bought my phone is locked from the company, Im Mexican and I have Telcel, but I bought the wotan service and Ive done everything like the instructions.... but I cant connect my phone in fastboot, my led don't turn blue, I only see the letters "SONY"...

I would personally try unlocking the bootloader if I had this problem, but I cannot tell you to do so because I don't know the risks of unlocking an already unlocked phone. You can try, but I'm just not sure. You might want to ask in the thread about unlocking without using DRM keys. Someone might help you. Good luck :good:

They say (Wotan support) that phones after 12W11 are not supported, so you can't unlock your phone if you have 12W17.

1. are you sure you know how to get into fastboot mode? - turn the phone off, hold volume up and while holding it, plug the usb into your computer.
2. make sure you have drivers installed. Can be found in Flashtool/drivers folder. If you're not sure which ones to install, you can install all of them.
3. this is the guide how to unlock the BL. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363847
I'm sure you can get into fastboot mode, I think you're just doing something wrong maybe...Try installing the drivers first, then try to get into fastboot mode as I described. See if it helped.

I'm quite sure this update fail isn't caused by Orange itself blocking it. If you see the update in PC Companion, it is already officially available for your phone WITH your carrier. this unlocking wouldn't help you. This is only for people who want to use multiple simcards or want to get into fastboot mode if their carrier has locked it.
You can try reflashing your firmware with SEUS or PC Companion by doing the 'repair' software or whatever it is. This should help. If it doesn't, you could try flashing an FTF with Flashtool, that should help for sure.
