I just used this method, and worked very well. It was very quick, literally a few seconds. I now have a fully unlocked phone.
It's €7.99 now though, not €5.
Ok, thanks, I'll update the thread, I'm glad it helped after having many people complaining...I just used this method, and worked very well. It was very quick, literally a few seconds. I now have a fully unlocked phone. Thanks for this thread

Hey Bro thanks For The Information But Still I cant Unlock My Bootloader Coz Its 12w12I've unlocked my phone using FastGSM as well using the testpoint method. Their software (which includes s1tool) unlocked the bootloader as well. I had to make sure that I installed the ZEUS Flash Device drivers or the software would not work.
FastGSM's webpage for the Xperia Ray is here: http://www.fastgsm.com/en/sonyericsson/se/xperia-ray/unlock-network/network-unlock/flashing-debrand
I feel for you bro. Perhaps, you can replace the phone's mainboard with one compatible with the testpoint method? It might be prohibitively expensive but just a thought.Hey Bro thanks For The Information But Still I cant Unlock My Bootloader Coz Its 12w12![]()

The methods posted by myself and the OP will work for your phone. For the record, I phone was also a TELUS branded Xperia Ray ST18a with 11W42 on the internal label. It is now unbranded though.Hi, my phone is a carrier (Telus in Canada) branded St18a, with 11W44 under the battery. How will this method work for me? Sorry if I'm asking an obvious question, I just want to be sure before I pay 15 dollars.
Bump on that. I'm having the same issue, unlocked sim (i've tested various carriers without problems) even I have an unlocking code from original carrier, but still "bootloader unlock allowed: No". such a shame having and sim-unlocked phone but still cant unlock its bootloader.I have sim unlocked but bootloader allowed = no .
How can i change my bootloader status to yes ?
BUMPPPI have sim unlocked but bootloader allowed = no .
